“This review is overdue/delayed. I enjoyed working with this company. I originally contracted for a large solar system with batteries in October 2020 – the height of the pandemic. They were very patient in answering my many questions and explaining all the options with panel specs, inverters, and installation. Through no fault of Infinity Solar, there were pretty serious delays in getting the batteries from Tesla. So Infinity did the panels first and then came back for the batteries several months later when Tesla finally delivered. Infinity showed a real commitment to getting the job done correctly and making sure we were happy with their work. They took the time to design a system that minimized the space taken up in my garage and looks tidy. Their crew also did a nice job cleaning up each day. Due to Covid, there were lots of delays with city inspectors, SCE etc., – again not Infinity’s fault. “Do your homework! There’s no replacement for that. Having done my homework (I spoke with close to a dozen companies and met with half of them on-site), I knew what I wanted and Infinity Solar delivered! I’ve very specific and detail-oriented but they accommodated my every need from where to locate the solar panel array to laying out the electrical conduit to post-installation support on deciphering my production/consumption reports. “We already had solar panels, decided to add more through infinity. We were producing 2000 kw and now after adding more panels it dropped to half. Tried calling customer service and after waiting for 44 min. call was disconnected. Our sakes doesn’t even tKe calls. You have to communicate through text only. “My solar install with Infinity Solar was just completed this morning and overall I had a great experience. My initial quote started with Kay almost four months ago. She was great to deal with and answered all my questions. The project manager Sara then took over and was quick to respond on questions and kept me informed of everything throughout the steps. The actual install by Chava, Adrian, Arni, Jose and Erick was smooth and the guys did an exceptional job. I just had an electrician install an EV charger and he praised the work saying it was one of the best solar installs he’s ever seen. While I do feel like it was a long process, the main reason it took a long time was Edison taking so long to approve everything. “First impressions are everything. I saw this solar company and reached out via Yelp for a quote. Blake responded and asked for several things, I’m assuming for a quote. I assume because I sent the information and never heard anything in return. I sent another message two days later asking if they have reviewed it because I hadn’t been contacted. Blake responded he was going to contact the sales person in my area. Again, did not hear from this company, so I reached out. Again, with the someone will be contacting me that day or the next. “I had an appointment with TIM and he missed it. “Infinity Solar did all the things they said in the contract agreement. My family went from Tesla to Sun Run to Solar *** and ended up with Infinity Solar. We chose Infinity Solar at the end and did not regret it at all. We have Infinity Solar upgraded the electrical panel, reroofed on solar panel section, and installed the solar panels. The project moved swiftly without delay due to Infinity Solar, rather by the permit and PTO clearances, at the end the whole process was completed way ahead of anticipated schedule. “DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!! This company is not one with which you want to deal. They demanded payment before the job was finished, then made clerical errors that caused Edison to not allow the system to be connected. As of this point we can not get Infinity to even call back let alone to correct their mistake. Other installers don’t want to take responsibility to correct the paperwork as they then become responsible for the job. At this point are we out the 20K plus? Is legal action the only option? “Infinity met our expectation for the design phase and exceeded expectations for installation as far as speed, coordination and site cleanliness. System was installed in late August 2016. From the (3) months it has been in service the average production falls short from the contract projection by 19%, which is a huge issue/thousands of dollars short. At this point in time I would not recommend Infinity, unless they take action to mitigate this problem.
