“We had Mirasol install solar water heating, pool heating, and PV panels in 2013. They did everything correctly the first time and were fast to respond to any issues. In the last 6 months we had them replace all the PV panels with newer ones, increase the amount of power generated, and install Tesla Powerwalls. We didn’t even think of contacting any other company. In 3 years I have owned solar, I had to call them myself to report issues. It took 2 years for a technician to arrive, and since no mechanical fault was noted, I was charged a service call. John is very rude on the phone. The office will not return calls or emails for days or weeks. My neighbor chose a cheaper company and his output is greater, resulting in a lower electricity bill. “Mirasol installed a solar hot water heater at our home in Central Florida about 8 years ago. The system has worked very well — we typically turn off the breaker powering the backup heating element 10 months out of the year and heat 100% of the water via the sun. “I have had my solar system for a few years now and it’s been issue after issue. The company has had to come out at least every six months — either something is leaking, not heating right, or needs to be replaced. Before solar I had a water heater panel that provided endless hot water. Now I’m lucky to get a 5-minute warm shower and the temperature continues to fall as you shower.
