Mr. Roofing, Inc. review

Positive reviews:

“My review is for the customer service I received while initially setting up the appointment and the follow up from one of their staff members. I had kind of a weird problem with my skylights and the staff member took the time to ask some of his contractors and gave some advice over the phone to me that I really appreciated. In the end I did not end up need their services, however I am impressed with their level of customer service and will be utilizing them in the future. Thank you all again!” – Miguel W. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ October 30, 2023

“Mr Roofing was great, they had a cancelation and started my project earlier than expected. Roberto and Jose was friendly and courteous. We need our eve trim or roof flashing that’s what it’s called because our old one was split open and was wood, they installed aluminum flashing and hope it will last for a long time. Price was reasonable and will call them for my next roofing project.” – Scion456 W. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ July 18, 2023

Negative reviews:

“Should have posted this much earlier. We had what appeared to be a water stain in the ceiling during the winter rains in December/January. Mike came out in January to provide an estimate. Although it was extremely high (commission focused it appears) we asked for a written estimate. We have had numerous storms since then and we were still waiting to hear back with the written estimate. I had some minor repairs from Mr. Roof years ago and they were very reasonable and customer focused back then.” – Jim H. ⭐☆☆☆☆ May 4, 2024

“Seriously flaky. I made an appointment with them, they came out to inspect everything and received all of the info they needed for an estimate. I was going to go with a complete re-roofing, as well as a large SunPower system with dual batteries. I called and texted the employee after over a week of hearing nothing. The week after that, they texted me and promised the estimate for the next day. It’s been over a week again. Thanks for wasting my time.” – Mark O. ⭐☆☆☆☆ April 1, 2022

Positive reviews:

“we just had our roof done in San Francisco, and overall had a great experience with the team and work from Mr. Roofing! i had a quote from another, smaller outfit that i thought was high, and Mr. Roofing beat it right up front, plus they were able to do additional related work like repairing siding and adding sun tunnels which the other company wanted me to engage a separate contractor for. from the first meeting with Ronnie discussing the project scope, through asking for some additions and getting German’s input on sun tunnels vs skylight, to the onsite crew of Osvaldo, Victor, Jose, and the rest, it was a pleasure working with them! every time i had a question, or if they ran into a hiccup, or even a couple times there were minor issues along they way, they were always super responsive, helpful, and made things right. easily recommended” – Ryan Barry ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ September 6, 2026

“Very positive experience from initial sales contact to job completion. Good communication and concerns addressed at all points during the process. I’d definitely recommend this company for any roof replacement projects.” – maxine ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ August 2026

Negative reviews:

“German came to us from Mr. Roofing for an estimate. He arrived in a Tesla SUV. First warning sign. While fussing with the gear on his utility belt he knocked our trellis off it’s supports. Second warning sign. When we finished the walk thru I asked when we’d get an estimate. He said he wouldn’t provide an estimate until we had other estimates!?? Third warning sign. After getting other estimates I emailed German, but no reply. Things that make you go hmm… Fourth warning sign. Ghosted for 3 weeks. German finally emailed us the day after we signed with another contractor. BTW we know the owner of Mr Roofing, Carlos and his family. Our kids went to the same grammar school and we served on the school’s board together. I was really looking forward to giving our business to Carlos. We were ‘friends and family.’ Disappointed in German and disappointed to not hear a word from Carlos. Things happen for a reason.” – Alan Fleming ⭐☆☆☆☆ August 2026

“I made an appointment to have my roof estimated for a replacement, the appointment was set for 10am. The day before the appointment I received an email claiming they couldn’t contact me by phone and could I confirm my noon appointment and provide my phone number. I explained the appointment was for 10am and was told that noon was available. I changed my plans to accommodate the new time. Not surprisingly, noon came and went without the estimator. I emailed and was told the estimator rang the bell for 10 minutes and no one answered so he left. If they can’t get an appointment right I would not trust them with a roof.” – Tim D ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2024
