“I bought my home in 2017, approached by many Solar company’s giving me their reasons for getting solar. A system with power storage capability & Government Discounts. My concern was my power company would not support and not a good gut felling. Now it’s March 2022, Community Festival, solar vendor. (NeRD POWER Rep.) I say, he had all the right info; Free Inst, 30 year Solar Insure warranty, Power Company Recommended, Power Buy Back & Discounts. Going Green & ~70% power control. This was the right fit. I immediately started the solar process. Started February & installed running April 19, 2022 (< 3 Months which is what I expected). NeRD POWER support through the whole process, providing step by step publications. On time Installation process with knowledgeable crew always on time. Making it a smooth approval process. “My wife calls no answer. They told us twice they would come and install the part. Then no show. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They don’t answer their phones. Roof was left in terrible condition and they gas lit me for months and had me send a report over with energy details and never followed up – my panels dramatically under deliver power to even cover 50% of energy needs each month. They knocked the foam insulation off a now exposed pipe on the wall and just didn’t care when I called and asked them to fix’s it as it’s way too high for my comfort level and I don’t have a ladder nor should I be responsible for this. “Just like the other reviews, going with Nerd Power has been a big mistake. The installation took for ever with little to no communication. Now I am having an issue with the inverter not working and going on three weeks since I called for support and I still have not even had a tech out to diagnose the issue. This delay in service and lack of communication is costing me HUNDREDS of dollars when my equipment should be working the hardest. “We were cautious about diving in on solar after thinking about it for a couple years. Nerd Power offered more than solar but whole house energy use reduction which we have appreciated. Our package includes Aeroseal for our ductwork which led to much more efficient heating and cooling. New thermostats were also installed, making it easier to control house temperature.We began the process in early February, expecting solar panels to be installed by June but they were installed in mid April and as of yesterday, fully operating! We passed every inspection on the first try too. Customer service has been great too. The problem is the entire system has no power, therefore will not generate power!! Ive called dozens of times over the last few weeks, left numerous voicemails, left emails, opened several service tickets and still zero response from anyone!! “His company is a nightmare! My wife has called and tried to get anyone to come inspect and correct our dead solar we purchased from them in 2019. Unable to get any response from anyone one. They will not answer her phone calls, called dozens back after voice mails have been left, respond to emails or service tickets that she has opened on their website. I called got an immediate answer, so they were avoiding her!! Unacceptable! Now is the day they told me a tech would be over to inspect the issues we are having with the entire unit. We have not have any communication as to if they are coming, what time they are coming, took the day off from work in the chance they would show up! This entire process is definitely not worth it , if we could give zero stars, we would. “Company did a great job installing the panels but I am having trouble getting someone to come out and look as the attic fan as it had failed and caused my roof to leak…. Tech came out and said yes this is the cause of this and it has been multiple months of trying to get them to come out and replace the attic fan. I also have 4 panels with poor production that and was told they need to replace the panels. It has been over 6 months and they are going to send out another technician to come and look at the panels again to confirm they are actually broken.
