My barn was built before permits were required were for these types of buildings in Santa Rosa, This threw the company for a loop and subsequently, the company went to the assessors office, Who knows why ? This triggered a visit from the assessor which will cause an increase in my property taxes as the barn has not been recorded, even though the assessors have been her multiple times. Go figure. “We were very satisfied with the solar installation and personnel of Northern Pacific Power. Our salesman, Cassius, was personable and answered all of our questions. Adaggio, our main point of contact during construction, was responsive with prompt emails and information when needed. They made sure we agreed with the final solar panel layout and design before beginning. They seamlessly obtained permits and interfaced with the county and PG&E inspectors. The installers did careful and thoughtful work. This was important to us as my husband is a retired building inspector who is picky about details. The workers made a point of checking in with us before leaving each day to make sure to address anything we needed. Jake, the electrician, was very competent and did an impressive job of replacing our complicated, challenging, and outdated electrical box, which was an extra request of ours. Final inspections by the county and PG&E were easily passed without issues. Jake also matched exterior paint to camouflage conduit on the roof and siding. Cassius and Graham came to our home to wrap up with final information once the job was completed. “Northern Pacific Power Systems installed a solar plus battery system on my simple south facing roof. The team arrived promptly at 8am with delivery materials and got to work. The installers attached the panels while the engineers set up the electrical system. It was seamless and after 8 hours the panels were producing energy and storing it in the battery. I interacted with the engineers, Juan and Ray who were extremely professional, approachable, and delightful. Lunar battery sent a rep for the final configurations and they instructed me to download their ap which is easy to use and shows you how much you are generating/using etc. I was given all the info and contacts and felt totally comfortable and excited as I waved goodbye to the crew.
