They took the time to design and size the systems right, for a smooth installation and a successful project at the right cost. Construction crews were an absolute pleasure to work with and have in our home, and their meticulous attention to detail and quality workmanship were top notch. This was a complex project with wall units mounted on interior walls which required unique solutions and tricky installations of line sets, but NW Renewables pulled it off beyond what we ever thought was possible. “Typical work day would be showing up in the morning and loading work trucks with needed job inventory and routine maintenance, then followed by a drive to the project site where we would begin installation.I learned alot from the electricians and project managers during my time, and with that knowledge I was able to advance fairly quickly.Management was great in my opinion (rare thing these days) very helpful both in the field and in the office. Good communication and legitimately caring.Workplace culture was great as well! lots of outdoor enthusiasts and a relaxed nature that was inviting. Plenty of cookouts and company events, and after work beverages.Hardest part of the job was getting some standardization in place. Though people where easy to talk with and communication was great, when I started crews would have different ways of operating. Then there was the seasonal aspect of the work where work would slow down in the winter months.The most enjoyable part was their willingness expand on good suggested ideas. “Northwest Renewables is a great company to work with from start to finish. We put a Solar array on our farm to power two circles and our grain bins and driers. Kevin walked us through all the paperwork, permitting, USDA applications, etc. Both the Construction and Electrical side work in harmony. They clean up after themselves and are there to assist the customer at all stages. They also worked with us while waiting to make sure our grant was completed as was granted. “Actually, I only TRIED to use their services. I requested specific services, including solar electrical system installation and installation of a heat pump to serve as the primary heat source for my house. I was told that the HVAC needs would be assessed on a site visit, along with the solar setup. But when the agent came out, he told me that the company does not install heat pumps in preexisting houses. He was clear about that. Since I had specifically requested heat pump installation, and was told that would be addressed, I was flabbergasted. “Very informative but way too pushy. I had a off grid system stolen and needed a quote for insurance. They said to get a quote was 3 weeks out? The solar powered our fresh water on our acreage and we just needed a quote. I was pushed numerous times to look into a grid tie system. Dont think these guys wont push their oppions on people just to sell a prouct. I had Off grid with no power bill, yet they insisted a grid tie that could pay for itself in possibly 8 years. 12kw system for around 35k. No thanks” – b t ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ 2019
