“we had a short in the house and we had sold our home and moving in 10 days and the people were coming for a walk through northwestern had repaired the electrical after the 100 mile a hours took out a tree and pulled all the electrical out of the house they were quick to respond so I called them this AM and she tole me she would try to get some out this after noon she did his name was Jerry. “I recently had the opportunity to use the services of this company. I live in a mobile home park across road 425-b from this business and have watched their fleet of vehicles leave & enter their yard for several years. The pedestal that houses the electric service at my space was in poor repair and needed to be replaced. Our management contacted this company to make those repairs. I was given a date to expect them and they were here as promised. A new concrete base was needed and completed. When that portion of the repairs was completed, the two workers left the area looking as if nothing had been done. After the concrete base cured, the crew was back and completed the installation of a new pedestal, tested every circuit and gave me a few safety tips. When they were done they left After picking up every scrap of wire and other leftover items. The only way one would detect that any work had been done would be the appearance of the new pedestal. “I wouldn’t recommend them if you can’t stay home to wait around. I had an appointment window of 9 to 11 am. I call at 11:18 AM to see what the status was and was told by Ruby tech was running behind as they were busy in the office catching up on paperwork. I didn’t receive a courtesy call to say hey we are running late is that ok or anything. I had to call to find out why they didn’t show. Ruby is very friendly in the office, but In my opinion their techs are very unprofessional not respecting appointment times so they could do admin work in the office. I stayed home to keep my commitment to the appointment time made. It’s unfortunate Northwestern doesn’t respect customers time. I cancelled the appointment so I cannot speak to their quality of work. “This company came through for us when our new Kohler generator was faulty. The owner Erick is very knowledgeable about Solar and sent out his technician Jim who rebuilt and fixed the generator to factory spec’s. Communication was excellent from Northwestern, and Jim came out to complete the job on a Sunday, you don’t see this kind of service from companies anymore! “I have not personally hired nor used this company. My review is based on one of their workers and their driving. On May 2, 2024 I was driving home from Oakhurst and was passing South Gate. The worker who was driving the truck in the picture was well over a car and a half behind me as the lane started to merge, and this worker sped up to over 60 mph to try to pass me. The lane was already merging and I was attempting to merge when this worker pulled up next to me and I had to slam on my breaks and run off the road into the emergency lane. He then started tailgating the person in front of him to the point the had to pull off the road and this worker couldn’t even let them get off the road and almost hit them. He was speeding the whole way to a work site across from the school. We had called the number on the back of their truck and spoke to a very nice lady (her service was 5 stars). We left our numbers for someone to return our call, and no one did. I believe how someone acts when they think no one is watching speaks volumes, and what this company nor their driver was aware of was that my passenger had just had a third neurological neck surgery. The repercussions of their driver and what he did to us cause my passenger to have severe neck pain, and he also hurt his knee from me having to slam on my breaks and run off road.
