“This company is a total scam. They cold call you multiple times to try to sell you a roof claining you need one off of a Satalite image. My house has been listed as private for 9 years. So the image has not been updated. I wish they woild stop calling me. A tree was growing thru the roof when that image was last taken and my house was abandoned. A good house repair company does not need to hound people for business. Good work at good prices will keep them busy thru word of mouth referals. So what this tells me is that they are not to good at fixing houses. If they think my roof is shot because they see a photo with a tree going thru it call the county and report the house as a safety hazard, but dont call me. “Preston was very knowledgeable and transparent about the process from start to finish on our roof replacement project. We wanted the best product available(Owens Corning) and the best warranty available. A company that stands behind it’s installers for LIFE is incredibly rare, as is the fully transferrable warranty when we eventually move. There was about 20+ color options since Owens Corning never reduced production during Covid and it was easy to decide. Nu Look actually had a computer generated aerial view of our home and it’s exact colors and dimensions. So in real time we were able to see the different roof color options with our existing siding, shutters and colors. “Procedure was a bit messy (lots of dust). Result was a remarkable change of the appearance of the kitchen. We found 17 years of stuff in the cabinets. Where did that come from? “She signed a special promotion with them that she would pay a monthly fee and at the end, a lump sum. She paid every installment on time and according to the terms of the contract. The promotion stated if she paid everything on time and in full as agreed, she would get all of her interest back. She called the company to ask where her refund was and they said she needed to contact the contractor who holds the loan. They are both pointing her to the other party to work it out. Nu Look will not return any phone calls and will not discuss the matter. She was so diligent to pay on time and we helped her pay off the lump sum at the end. “We told them that we did not know who they are and that we never deal with contractors who knock on our door to solicit business. Today, we took a zoom lens photo of our roof and found there were no missing tiles at all. The salesmen from this company had misinterpreted flashing to prevent mold growth as missing roofing tiles, and they caused us unnecessary concern that our relatively new roof (five years) needed to be replaced. They also asked a number of intrusive and unwarranted questions about our business with the original contractor. We would never do business with a company that tries to solicit business in this manner, and we urge this company’s owners to explain to its young salesmen that this kind of tactic can have an extremely negative impact. “NuLOOK just completed replacing the siding on my house, and I couldn’t be happier. I was happy with the price, the workmanship, and the seamless Transaction. Jess explained the products they use for the job and showed samples so I knew what I was getting, and she helped me choose a color that complemented my home. She even added my shed to the job to match my house. Sandy was the project coordinator, and she did an excellent job of explaining any prep I had to do (removing pictures on the outside walls, etc), and overseeing the job. The job took 5 days, and the crew arrived every morning at 8 am and didn’t leave that day until they completed the day’s work. Even though the temperature was only in the 20’s, the crew worked as a team and enjoyed their work. They were polite, respectful, and discussed with me any issues that popped up. The finished product is beautiful, and they cleaned up when the job was done. Considering how much siding had to be removed, they left the yard in clean condition with only a few small stray pieces of material.
