“I made the mistake of agreeing to their service contract. The technician told me it was a one-year agreement, but they continued billing my credit card. I called twice to cancel and got no response, then emailed to cancel — still no response. I only found out they require written cancellations when I called my credit card company, but they never responded to my email and just kept billing me. “Buyer beware — outrageously expensive and they do not guarantee their work. They charged me $413 to unclog a bathroom sink by removing the p-trap and snaking approximately 15 feet. Two weeks later it was clogged again. When I questioned their pricing, they compared themselves to doctors and said they charge a flat rate regardless of how long it takes. They kept pulling the electrician off for other jobs, calls went unreturned for days, and when they were ready for inspection they lied to me about the inspector’s availability. Their work then failed the inspection for basic violations. The scheduling and communication throughout were condescending and dismissive. After finally reaching the owner, the job was completed and a small discount given. When we asked them to make it right they said they’d be happy to for an additional $7,500. When I asked the owner to follow up and stand behind his work, he ghosted me. Another AC company told me Number One could easily have chosen a system with remote sensing capabilities that would have worked for us.
