What Do Customers Say About the OE Solar?
Positive reviews:
“Oe went out of their way to help in this installation. First they rescheduled the estimate visit to meet my timeline. Second they sent the estimate on the weekend and sent the technician early in the week. Small difficulties in the process were handled easily.” – pamtumolillo ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ March 14, 2021
“20 bidirectional panels installed on my roof last week. State inspection tomorrow, turn on in approx 2 weeks. Install included level 2 charger for my Leaf eCar. Very clean install and esp the conduit runs and the sympathy of the panels is excellent. 2 day install timeframe as promised. Crew was professional and did a good clean up after. I believe I got a very fair price, documentation quite good, lots of permits hoops to jump through but they were able to stay on schedule. I appreciated the on time arrivals. Communication was good as well.” – cporter4th ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ March 1, 2021
Positive reviews:
“I met with several solar installers and OE was the most responsive and best cost, plus they are actually local. Other installers wanted significantly more for the same materials and then refused to tell me how they came up with their cost they were charging me. OE (Osceola Energy) was great to work with. They dealt with PNM, the city and my terrible HOA to get everything approved. They worked with my schedule to get the install done, were very professional, and cleaned up after they were done. They installed solar plus Tesla Powerwalls, as they are Tesla certified installers. The whole system is working great and I am glad I went with OE.” – Matt G. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ November 17, 2021
“I’ve never been happier that I chose OE Solar for my system. From start to finish the process was seamless and simple. My wife was reluctant to put even consider solar, so I had to shop multiple companies, both local and national. If I had to do it over, I would of just pulled the trigger with OE from the start and saved the headache. From top to bottom they made me feel like I was their number one customer. My system and panels have been perfect from the start and now my skeptical wife is the biggest cheerleader. She waits to show me the Pnm bill every month which is zero. If you want quality and care OE will not let you down.” – Brent Gordon ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ August 6, 2020
Negative reviews:
“Osceola provided a good product at a fair price. With that being said if you can afford to go anywhere else, do so. The unprofessionalism starts at the CEO level and is present through the entire organization. Poor communication, little to no organization and an inexperienced sloppy install where I’m still picking up trash that they left both in and around my house and worrying about the exploratory holes they drilled in my roof. If you can deal with the hassles and want the cheapest possible install then Osceola may be the best candidate. If you like some level of professionalism and not to have to worry about the install quality and future warranty claims then go somewhere, anywhere else.” – gwpreston ⭐⭐☆☆☆ July 5, 2015
“I love our panels and Osceola made is easy for us by dealing with the city permits and our electrical company. Lack of communication between our electric company and Osceola pushed out the final turn on by a couple of weeks, which I could live with. During the installation, Osceola had to go into the crawl space in the roof, and ours happened to have a ‘conveniently’ located shelf near the access point. The workers used the shelf to get into the crawl space and completely destroyed it. They left the shelves, foot prints and dirt, near the shelf with exposed nails near the ground as well as the other broken pieces of wood. Unfortunately we did not notice till a few weeks after everything was installed and we just did not want to deal with them again. We also kept finding cigarette buts in our yard.” – jt1 ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ January 28, 2016
Positive reviews:
“Great service! Victoria helped us with ever step and also helped us with other permitting issues related to our property. I always received a prompt response regardless of the situation or when I contacted them/her. If I had to redo anything related to my solar I will definitely be going through them. I highly recommend this company for solar, regardless of the size of your home or business.” – Katherine P. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ February 16, 2017
“For our solar installation Osceola Energy was there for us from our salesman to the installation crews and the office staff. Throughout the process they kept us informed as to what was going on, (paperwork, installation, inspections, etc.) which is very much appreciated. While figuring out the tax credits wasn’t ‘transparent’ (especially the NM credit) the final owner”s packet had everything needed to file for the State and Federal tax credits. And when I was confused by the State credit the office staff helped me. We installed during fall and it took a number of months and some adjustments to reach our Solar potential. However, Osceola monitored the system and explained when we would realize savings .” – Susan B. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ May 2, 2016
Negative reviews:
“Bought an off grid system from OE about 2 years ago. OE will not make a service call on the system. IN fact there service is so bad, they gave me other solar companies names to call. OE just will not make a service call on products they have sold and installed. OE said they were to BUSY to service this account. After 1st installing, it was difficult to get them out to the site to tweek the system, and now, they will not even make the call.” – Clayton L. ⭐☆☆☆☆ August 13, 2019

“I really enjoy working here becuase every day it’s something different. We work on some really cool jobs for the city and government. From solar to batteries and some EV chargers I get to work with lots of outside groups and customers.” – Project Coordinator ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ November 6, 2025
“OE Solar is a fast growing solar company, with lots of potential for advancement. There is a lot to do and never a dull moment. Anyone who is hard working, driven, and has good work ethics can do well working with OE Solar.” – Office Manager ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ December 9, 2019
Negative reviews:
“Do not apply if you liked being valued at a company. This place does not care if they keep their employees. Nobody lasts more than a year. They either get fired for going a second too slow on the work site or they quit the second they find another job.” – Installer ⭐☆☆☆☆ September 25, 2020
“Company turn over is huge, Owners gets anger in situation that he is not aware what has happened yet. Calls people liars even when other employees saw what really happened. Screams and become very aggressive at the drop of a hat. If they would get control this it would be a great place.” – Construction & Procurement Manager OE Solar ⭐⭐☆☆☆ June 16, 2020
Positive reviews:
“I was very impressed with the quality of the workmanship, the professionalism of all of the people involved, the organized approach to my roof repair and subsequent solar installation. I highly recommend their service to anyone (commercial or residential). A bonus: locally owned company in Albuquerque. Keeping money in New Mexico, where it is needed.” – Adam D. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ May 2017
“Very well done. They were here when they told us they would be. They correctly assessed our needs. When we decided to switch to HVAC from a swamp cooler they re-engineered our needs and adjusted the system and the estimate. We have a flat roof and they explained how solar would be engineered not to penetrate our roof. They helped us with understanding PNM billing, solar and our system. And, finally, they helped us with the paperwork to get our tax rebates. All during the process they have been helpful and attentive to our needs. I contacted them recently (months after the system was installed and working) to explain our PNM bill and ‘banked’ solar energy we used to meet the needs of a hot summer. Again, they were helpful and talked to me until I understood.” – Susan B. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ September 2016
Positive reviews:
“The team at OE Solar was amazing. I had a dedicated project manager who provided frequent updates about permitting, scheduling, etc. At no point did I have to reach out for updates, they were always provided proactively. Work started on time, finished on time and has been running flawlessly ever since. I highly recommend OE Solar.” – Brandon Condrey ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2025
“I had a great experience with OE Solar. Bo on the sales team explained all of my options to me and helped me design a great system with a great warranty! The installation went well. The panels are mounted very close to the roof, so they look really nice and clean. They kept me up to date as they worked with the inspectors. It’s been up and running for 4 months now, and I’m thrilled! Even as we enter winter, I just have to pay the connection fee to PNM. My system is creating plenty of power!” – Maggie Aulbach ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2021
Negative reviews:
“Very poor customer service. Osceola reps called my office demanding answers about an HOA application for their client and were extremely rude with our office staff. I called their office later in the day to follow up, and their ‘customer service’ person was extremely rude with me too, cutting me off and talking AT me. If that’s any indication of how they deal with their customer, I would consider taking your business elsewhere.” – Brandy Hetherington ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2022
“Wanted $150 to test an $89 12v panel if I brought the panel to them. Got snarky when I expressed surprise at rate. Refused to suggest any other business that might perform test. Then hung up on me. Real professionals. Woman at Deltran Battery Tender talked me through testing using multi-meter in under 5 minutes.” – Travis Perry ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2017
