“Energy estimates were inflated especially by a salesman named Andrew. He lied about production and New York State requirements. When we question that the owner Ryon called with high pressure. All work was done in a poor manner. Siding was cracked and broken during installation and never repaired. Appropriate permit pulling and inspections weren’t done including the labeling of electrical box. Materials were left with debris for over a year on site. After having gotten quotes from almost a dozen different companies – from small local ones, to regional ones, to national ones – I can say that OnSite was the most knowledgeable, honest, and offered, hands-down, the most competitive prices. In an industry that abounds in shady sales tactics and pushy salesmen willing to tell you flat out lies to get you to sign with them, OnSite is a beacon of bright shining light in the darkness that is the Residential Solar Installation Industry. I came into this having done a ton of research on technical specs of panels and inverters, system design and optimization, building and fire codes, rebates and incentives, etc. REMOVED- the company owner – and his team were able to take all that and work with me to fine tune my system design and dial it in perfectly. The whole process, from my initial phone discussions with them, to the site survey, to the install and to passing all inspections and getting permission to operate from the utility, was super smooth. REMOVEDkept me informed every step of the way and was always available and very helpful with any questions I had. Even after the system was up and running, when I had an issue with the Enlighten app, REMOVEDhelped me sort it out quickly by calling the company. The install itself was very professionally done. “OnSite Energy, don’t know where to start!. I was a super skeptic at first and spent time researching reading review after review and couldn’t find a reliable REMOVEDthat didn’t appear to spew pure rhetoric and game to fool us into taking the plunge. So I avoided Solar for the better part of 2025. Then I was on a local app where local neighbors discussed their experiences with all types of home related matters and I came across one topic speaking on Solar. In there there was this guy trying to game everyone into going Solar (from another company I’d already researched not worth mentioning), he was way too pushy with played out sales rhetoric. About a day after I’d gone back and forth with this individual about his lack of transparency and not keeping it 1000% truthful, I’d received a private message from a girl named REMOVEDrepresenting OnSite Solar. I was kind of stand off’ish at first and God Bless this girl because she allowed me to vent that whole time about Solar companies about their conniving BS and their dishonesty yet still she took the time to talk eventually calling me and asked I give them a chance as they are not like bigger Solar names that do in fact game us into buying their services and flip their script after they’ve made us sign off on them. She asked I check OnSite reviews not just from their site but from other sources like REMOVEDReviews, BBB, REMOVEDand the likes of other company review services. Man am I happy I did!. After roughly a week of going through all their reviews and research, they blew me away!. It’s been a Real Positive Experience for me. From Skeptic to Very Happy!. In less than 2 months the process was had and all Solar equipment was Installed and I’ve yet to have any Issues, AT ALL!. It’s beyond expectations. “On-site work with REMOVED, they will show you suppose a clear contract, when called to set up the monthly payments they offered a discount if you have an automated payment not specifying with a checking or bank card. When called they said ,with an automated payment to your checking account you will have a 12 dollars billing fee that they will cancel- if you pay with your bank card ( not credit- bank card) they will have a 7:50 dos billing fee but they will credit 5 so you pay only 2:50. Nice game of numbers and words. After 2 months of services I am still waiting to see the savings. Still receiving almost 80dls bill from nyseg and REMOVEDfrom ISG /. Plus they suppose to charge my account on the 26 th of each month. They decide this month do it on the 24th and my account went on red. Terrible service and customer service too. She did it twice not just once. The Solution isn’t local they are partnered with a National Overpriced Solar Company who does all of their dirty work for them. look for a local that does everything A-Z. “Deceptive production amounts. Broken siding and debris left behind after a year. Smashed patio lights. Outdoor shower plumbing broken. Permits not pulled. Electric not up to code. Electrical box not labeled or up to code. Consistently not showing up to fix or repair any of their mistakes for over a year.Response to Ryon: you can believe him or me I have nothing to gain and he has everything. Photos don’t lie. And their sales technique and estimates are a lie. For the consumer sake please check New York State website on solar rebate and savings before you hire this company.Ryon, I do have the recording of my conversation with John from the day he showed up more than 30 minutes late after I told you I couldn’t stay that long to show him the damage. Either way the call is recorded. And that call granted him access clearly to the property, went over all the damage that he saw, recorded him saying that he could not fix it that day and he needed to source the siding, as it wasn’t available from Home Depot, as I told you (also recorded ). This was also witnessed by the other person in the vehicle with me while I verbally went through the property with him. I have proof that contradicts everything you say. Is it really worth it?
