“In the summer of 2019, I was visited by Matt Crowell. Matt was in Minnesota working for Greenify out of Utah. Greenify was taking advantage of incentives of rebates being offered to customers of Minnesota Power and the Federal Government for installing Solar. With the rebates I was able to save $27,500 off my system. Over the years I had several energy audits conducted at my home trying to find out why my electric bill was so high…sometimes as high as $200+ a month. In order to solve my energy costs Matt sold us on the advantages of solar energy. I had never really thought about going solar. After hearing of the advantages, we decided to go with it. Matt took care of obtaining the necessary permits, financial arrangements and arranging for installation and any other incidentals. After the system went online, I started to see solar credits starting to accumulate right away. Since the installation, my energy bill has steadily gone down. This month (July 2020) I earned $122 in solar credits. The credits I am building up will significantly reduce or electric bills during our Minnesota winters.
