“I hired Organ Mountain Solar & Electric to expand an existing system of 4 panels previously installed by Positive Energy in 2014. Since I had experienced no problem with the photovoltaic panels in the years since 2014, & Organ Mtn. was designated to continue my original 25 yr warranty by Positive Energy when they moved to Albuquerque, I chose this company due to reputation for integrity & competence. Organ Mtn. updated inverters on my older panels, updated electrical requirements, & installed another 12 panels, combining both systems effectively. Their staff was exceptionally reliable to contact for any questions; explained & graphed where panels would be installed & exactly what to expect from them; explained each step of installation clearly; & processed all paperwork for El Paso Electric approval, inspections, & state tax credits in a timely manner. Due to being in demand, they were backed up for quite a while, but were worth the wait, & once able to start, finished my project quickly. Since panels were operational effective June 1, my electric bill has only balanced out to credits, & I am confident my new 25 yr warranties will be honored. They ensure you are in good hands and they come through. They have highly talented staff at each level, from initial estimates to installation. “I contracted with Organ Mountain Solar and Electric to have solar panels installed on my home. We discussed what was going to be required. Because of the roof vents and evaportive cooler on my roof it was not possible to have the panels installed in a manner that would be efficient. What I required was to have a porch constructed on the back of my house and have the panels located on the porch roof. Organ Mountain Solar and Electric assured me they had the knowledge and expertise to handle the job. They assured me they worked with an engineering company that could provide required documentation for the permitting. Months passed, I was told different stories about why the engineers were not providing the promised drawings so the construction could be initiated. It became apparent to me that Organ Mountain Solar and Electric’s “project manager” Scott had absolutely zero knowledge of construction with no sense on how manage a relatively simple project. Scott might be able to handle a simple solar installation that only requires the panels to placed on the roof, but anything more than this he is clueless. While Scott was fumbling along, not knowing what he was doing, Organ Mountain Solar and Electric had my earnest money and I was not seeing any savings on my electric bill as I had not had any money saving solar installed. In the end I told Organ Mountain Solar and Electric to forget the project as they had showed themselves as not being capable of executing the project.
