“Phoenix Energy did a very nice job installing a heat pump. The system will do our air conditioning and this time of year, our heat. They provided a very high quality unit, at a good price and were conscientious in all of the install efforts. They were on time, had good follow up and provided everything we could possible need to have a well heated home. During the initial visitations they gave many options for the system as we finally concluded on a heat pump and the SMUD rebate. “I hired this company to install a HVAC system. They promptly sent over the “B” team for install. Incompetent installer screwed up my install. Company fired him post my install. Owner fought me when another HVAC contractor noticed code violations on the install HVAC at my house. Owner at Phoenix Energy refuses to fix the code violations at my house caused by his crew to this day. “Worst experience yet! I have been attempting to get money back from this company for 5 years because they did not perform some of the items I paid for, this was directed by the technician and I did not have a choice. The technician told me it would be removed from the bill. That never happened so I continued to reach out to get this resolved. It has been 5 years and I have made over 30 phone calls, 20+ emails, and 2 BBB complaints. Still no response or resolution. Now the owner is telling me to F off. “I hired Phoenix Energy Solutions to install a new HVAC system in my home. The work was so poor that I had multiple callbacks because of quality of the install. Only later did I discover that the problem was much deeper involving them cutting corners and violating County codes when another contractor discovered their work.
