Roofing service
Panel OptionsMonocrystalline Solar Panels: These panels are made from a single crystal structure, resulting in high efficiency (typically 15%-20% in silicon types and 20%-23% in high-efficiency designs). Monocrystalline panels are space-efficient and perform well in direct sunlight. Polycrystalline Solar Panels: Polycrystalline panels are made from multiple crystal structures. They are slightly less efficient than monocrystalline panels (typically around 13%-16%), but they are more affordable. Polycrystalline panels work well in moderate sunlight conditions. Thin-Film Solar Panels: Thin-film panels use a different technology and are less common for residential installations. They are lightweight, flexible, and can be integrated into various surfaces. However, their efficiency is lower (around 10%-12%). Thin-film panels are suitable for large-scale projects and unconventional applications.

What Do Customers Say About the Primitive Power?

bbb.org

Negative reviews:

“Reading other reviews and I couldnt agree more! Undersold panels and riddled with lies and promises! Because of my income, I should have leased these panels but no mention of that from the company. It will take me 10 years + to get the federal tax credit, meanwhile my payments are $200 a month more because the loan didnt have the credit applied within the first 18 months. On social security, have no idea how to pay for this. They REFUSE to help in anyway. To make matters worse, having a hard time finding a lawyer because it is a contract though. Anyone know an attorney that will take this case? Attorney General is NO help, guess they are the messenger between Primitive Power and myself. Thanks Primitive Power for putting me in this financial disaster!” – Bill C ⭐☆☆☆☆ April 11, 2024

“I’m having a problem with contacting someone with the company. They called me everyday in the beginning. I’m paying triple since having this solar system. I’m paying them $158.00 a month and also paying utility company $118.08 I’m getting gripped off and No one seems to be getting back to me. I’ve been calling everyday fir the past three months. I NEED HELP! I want this off my roof.” – Willie C ⭐☆☆☆☆ February 13, 2024

Google Reviews

Positive reviews:

“Great experience start to finish. Our representative, Beau was extremely helpful with answering all of our concerns and following up afterward. Definitely recommend!” – Cathy Riccio ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2025

“My point of contact was always courteous and well informed. Throughout the solar project they were helpful in navigating the various forms of paperwork to cover the regulatory and utility requirements and were aways available to address the questions i had. They initiated the initial onsite survey and the subsequent engineering design package that was developed by professional engineering services. They worked in concert with the installer local to our area. This review is to cover Primitive Power’s portion and involvement of our solar project.” – Larry Noble ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2025

Negative reviews:

“Told me I’d receive a check at the end of the year I never really used my electricity I was living alone for a year. Was only getting a $25 credit every month. My manager here that works for solar says this guy pocketed the rest of my panels profit. Never got that check by the way. Emailed him and he ignored me after the fact. 30k system w/ no battery could’ve added more panels on my roof” – Irvin Cortes ⭐☆☆☆☆ August 2025

“Assumed we got solar from titan solar last year. When we contacted titan with some issues, we were told primitive power is who we should talk to since they sold the system to us. The paperwork made it look like our contract is with titan solar.During the initial sales discussions about the installation process, we specifically mentioned our pigeon problem and that we are concerned that birds could nest under the panels. The two sales people Hunter and Bryce reassured us that this won’t be a problem at all since the panels will be installed low enough so that birds can’t fit underneath. Well, since several weeks we are having birds nesting under the panels damaging our roof. When we contacted titan, they kept pushing this issue off to primitive power and giving us quotes for a couple hundred dollars to install bird netting. Any request to talk to someone at primitive power about the miscommunication on their end during their sales appointment has been without luck. No call or email responses. Very misleading experience with zero follow up on titan / primitive powers ends.” – Romy Pfeifle ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2025
