“We purchased this system in 2023, based on the “IMPLIED” sales pitch that the company was going to opening an office in Kailua Kona. We were told by the the salesman that technical response would be within 24 to 48 hours. I should have gotten everything in writing! As of this writing, our system has shut down 4 times within the last 6 months. While the tech support has resolved the issue, they do not respond within the 24-48 hours that we were led to believe. Since they operate out of Hilo, we’ve been lucky to get them here within a week. There was once exception when it was 2 days but that isn’t the norm. I’ve gotten support by calling the Tesla contact center, but there is only so much that they can do. The latest issue was somewhat resolved with the support of the contact center. The agent did escalate the issue to another l

“Project manager, Spencer, DOES NOT return calls on voice mail and he is NOT prompt on returning calls or emails. The senior project manager, Jaymie, had to intervene, because I left voice mails of disappointment and regret. Jaymie was great with communication. But Oahu manager, Steph, is like Spencer. She’s hard to get in touch with and doesn’t return calls when you have a question. Installation team of Josh and Kekoa were great and quick. Josh took pics of my roof tile grout cracking and Kekoa said they can help me fix it while they were up there. This was on February 14th, Kekoa said he’ll reach out to Josh to get it fixed. Jaymie reassured me with a couple of phone calls saying that she will reach out to Kekoa. Fast forward to today, March 27th, and NO ONE has reached out to me. Hence to 2 stars. It would’ve been higher if communication and promptness with Kekoa could’ve been better. I would be wary of using an “off island” company like ProVision. “There are a few Solar companies on Maui. I called all them- some retunred my calls, some didnt. My experience with Provision Solar was excellent. They provided written quotes, expalined the process, answered my emals and I was always able to speak with someone. They secured the necessary approvals from Maui Electric and installed the Solar panels on my home in a timely manner. Everything is running fine. No problems or any issues.
