Pur Solar completed their end of the job within 3 days, total – within a week the system was APS approved, On Monday 2/5, I get an email stating it would be up to 3-4 weeks before the meters would be installed. As I’m reading the email. the door bell rings, and APS is at the door to install the meters. I called Pur Solar following the installation of the meters, and they scheduled the activation of the system for the next day, Tuesday, 2/6. “Pur Solar did an exceptional job in installation and dealing with APS rebate changes. They developed an excellent design of my system and did a very professional installation with employees who were clearly very competent. I am an engineer and I was very involved in this project. I highly recommend Pur Solar. I plan to upgrade my system with them next year. Pur Solar were assigned the APS rebate and handled all paperwork and issues including the sudden change in rebate payment. They handled all county requirements which were very extensive. Installing solar is not an easy process which is made more complicated by APS and the county inspectors. Originally, the workers did not clean up after themselves and there was some damage — All fixed and paid for by Pur Solar without and trouble. My real concern is that it appears that the system is not large enough to handle my needs. My goal was no power bill I had told Pur Solar that I would be getting an electric dryer and that basically was the only added appliance. “Because of Sunrun’s lack of service or response in 6 months after ordering a system , I contacted this company, 2 days later had a call, then a visit from their representative. Talk about courtesy and professionalism I got it. Then a diagram and cost breakdown of exactly what I was looking for. They will get my business and order! I decided to sell this house and I’m in the process of buying another, which delays my solar purchase from Pur Solar, but I’m looking forward to calling a GOOD COMPANY and avoiding the runaround that I got from Sunrun! I need to replace my roofing and Travis said that they would not contract with me to remove and replace the system, they will only contract with the roofer (who won’t do it because they don’t want the liability of Pursolar’s work) Interesting business model. “After they put a 2×4 through our ceiling in two places, the employee said to me ( Oh well the company will take care of it and walked off, also covering all our clothes in insulation making us clean all our clothes for two days) after Pur solar and electrical ran us through this big hassle we did ask for a discount so Travis took $100 off our $32000 bill. “Been waiting for months on pricing for upgrades, waiting for months on installation of new equipment, and also waiting for weeks on call back and follow through on recent repair service related issues. Spent 48,000 on a 40 panel system couple years ago and now I can’t seem to get any customer service out of Travis and company. Recently, he responded by email after I answered a Feedback request notice. He responded and made a slew of excuses to address my comments and suggestions, and THEN told me I can use any company I want, so pick one. Basically, he told me to go away. Seriously? I responded to his email and asked that he continue servicing my account, but I also called him on the excuses and asked that he fix his lack of customer service. Haven’t heard back. I sent follow up email, asking for information on my system. Never heard back. Currently, I have an inverter that’s not working and it’s been over a month since the problem first started. I recommended this vendor on here a couple of years ago, but buyer beware. If you expect any level of customer service, technical support, pricing or upgrades, or repairs when things fail, this outfit may not be best choice. Find someone who will service you properly after the sale, has the proper salesmanship and customer service skills to run a company and keep clients happy. I am going to have to look for a new solar vendor now, which was not what I wanted to do. But Travis has left me no choice. Ignoring a client is no way to run a business.
