What Do Customers Say About the Raynor Services?
Positive reviews:
“Could not be more grateful for the amazing service provided by Raynor Electric. Justin, Paul and Phil came out quickly during the biggest snow storm in 30 years. This turned out to be a huge job and they stayed well past normal business hours to get us back in power. So thankful that this local company came through for us today.” – Dan N. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ February 23, 2026
“Rocky, ‘Big Guy’ was at our home this morning to perform a service call. He was on time and professionally dressed. Our problem was not an obvious one. He explained what he was doing and why through the entire diagnostic process. He informed us of the cost of the repair before he began the work. He worked cleanly and efficiently. He are very pleased with his work and work ethic.” – Mimi W. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ March 18, 2024
Negative reviews:
“Raynor showed up at my house today for an HVAC inspection. I didn’t book the appointment but thought that maybe my wife did. So I let the tech in and within 10 minutes I was getting the ‘my whole systems in need of repair’… In the mean time my wife called and said she didn’t book an appointment with them. It was totally bizarre. Felt so scammy, I couldn’t believe a local company would act this way. So I checked it out and sure enough the company was sold to private equity. Call center is in California and they are over aggressive in trying to get you to commit to system upgrades. Just throwing it out there for everyone so they are aware of who they dealing with.” – David B. ⭐☆☆☆☆ March 11, 2026
“They charged my 80 year old mother $500 to turn an outside switch which restored her power during a shortage. When my mom asked the worker if she could just flick the switch herself since $500 is extremely expensive, the young technician told her she could die from the electricity if not done properly. When I looked at it the next day it was a simple switch that would not have harmed my mother. When I called and told the owner how the worker took advantage of my mother, he said he would have to come out and see it for himself. When he showed up he looked for about 15 seconds and said ‘well there was a chance she could have gotten hurt’. When I told him that was untrue and he ripped my mom off he got aggressive and had to be told to leave to premises. I would NEVER use them again, I wish my mom saw all his negative reviews before choosing them in the first place but hopefully this will save others from this nightmare!!” – William Y. ⭐☆☆☆☆ May 19, 2025
Positive reviews:
“It’s not often you get to say your job feels like home. But here you really feel like part of a family. The owners really care about you as a person and are attentive to your needs as a parent with small children. I look forward to coming to work knowing we all get along and are going to work as a team to get the job done. Training is exceptional and everyone is willing to help eachother. The pay is fair and the bonus program is beyond compair. You are in control of your own incentives and have many oppertunies to recieve overtime or incentive pay. The benefits are great and PTO is excellent. I am honored to be a part of this family.” – Customer Service Representative ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ August 22, 2024
“I love working at Raynor..everyone was so nice and welcoming when I started here..They are so attentive and willing to help you with no hesitation..the atmosphere is great and everyone works well together..and are so patient and make you feel at home…I would encourage anyone to apply here ..Management is great and so down to earth ..I’ve never had such great people to work with at a job..” – Mimi W. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2024
Negative reviews:
“Smoking mirrors, favoritism, seasonal work but you aren’t told that during the interview or until work slows. You go before the owner takes a slow season even when you accepted full time employment. If appts aren’t booked, people are forced to ‘volunteer’ to stay home without pay even though during winter months work is typically dead across the industry. Enjoy a great summer job until the weather cools and owner begins to worry, then you’re a goner! In the meantime training for jobs other than answering a phone and working software is pathetic but you’re still held to the same level as if you received thorough training. Incentives are great if the tech isn’t related and thinks he deserves it instead then they win, or work is slow then you’re beat for your bonus. Coworkers provide the opportunity to relive high school. Pay scale is sold as sacrificing to ‘be a part of something big before it takes off’ but sadly you find out you just weren’t smart enough to demand your worth like others being paid much more to do much less. Never again!” – Customer Service Representative ⭐☆☆☆☆ July 1, 2024
“What is advertised is not what it is. Good benefits, but everything else is a nightmare. Micromanagement. Zero trust of employees. Immature. Stressful. Phony. Backstabbing. Bonus pay is designed to be unachievable. Use employees accomplishments outside of work for advertising. They will critique everything you do and hold it against you forever.” – Employee ⭐☆☆☆☆ July 22, 2023
Positive reviews:
“I had a great technician William B. My husband passed away last year and I am leary about calling companies I have never used. William came out and explained everything to me and did excellant work. Thanks!!!” – Kathleen K. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ June 2024
“We have been very pleased to use Raynor Services for installing new outlets in our home as well as yearly service to our heating system and electrical inspection of our electrical systems. Bob E. just left after inspecting our electric and offering some options for projects we plan next spring. The attention to customer satisfaction from Raynor has been exemplary. We can always reach a live polite person by phone, receive immediate attention, and on-time respectful technicians that clean up after they are done working. Bob E. was professional and yet cheerful and friendly in explaining options and costs to me this morning. Who could ask for anything more? We do pay $19 per month to insure our HVAC and electrical systems are safe and effective. Raynor is our trusted ‘go-to’ company.” – Richard L. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ December 2022
Negative reviews:
“Raynor appealed to me because it was a family run business and they seemed to always show up. They are very pricey, $500 hr. (good luck finding that published on their website), so I was hopeful to get what I paid for.” – Vince L. ⭐☆☆☆☆ December 2022
“PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR, IT WILL SAVE YOU THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. We hired this company for a simple commercial HVAC install, however they did not adhere to the guidelines dictated by the town which is preventing our company from receiving a Certificate of Occupancy (CO) for this building. In response to our inquires to rectify the above issue, the owner (Tom) has been grossly negligent. He has refused to work with us and the town to fix his errors which is completely unprofessional. This company has cost my partners and I thousands of dollars of lost revenue and we are now in a situation where the owner does not return our phone calls. How can a company which states on its website that it provides ‘top quality service with professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy and highly skilled technicians that make sure we treat your home and business as if it were our very own’ under-deliver on all of the above qualities? Don’t let the same thing happen to you, find another professional company to work with.” – Brandon C. ⭐☆☆☆☆ July 2020
Positive reviews:
“Hi there, I had a man by the name of Kevin Larrisey. He was extremely professional and accurate with all of his work. I totally recommend him to anyone and will share his work with my colleagues. He deserves a shout out for extreme hardworking and professional.” – Nadine Caffrey ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ March 2026
“I’m very happy and satisfied with the electrical services I received from Raynor! The entire experience was extremely pleasant, A+! From the friendly ladies on the phone booking the appointment to the very knowledgeable and informative technicians completing the work, I felt like a VIP every step of the way. The technicians, Matt and Phil, were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and had all of the work completed in a timely manner. These guys were first class all of the way, I couldn’t ask for a better team! I highly recommend Raynor Services for any work you may need done on your property, they’re simply the best!” – Marcus Miller ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ December 2025
Negative reviews:
“Something is wrong at Raynor Services. They do not respond to repeated requests for clarification of a recent HVAC service. Their HVAC team responded within one day to my service request but the repairs with red sealant were unconventional and questionable. I contacted them on Dec 18 and again in January to discuss the issue. No response yet, after I was assured the service manager would be in touch. At this point I can not recommend them.More recently I have been contacted by the new service manager who was out of the office. He apologized for the delay and promised to do a refund and a proper repair. I am waiting.” – bert cossaboon ⭐☆☆☆☆ January 2026
“Spent $11,000 on a service upgrade and they did an all right job and then tried to get a price quote and have them come to the house waited around all day and nobody showed up tried to charge me $79 for it will not do business with them again. They continued to call the next day and make excuses for their behavior. Communication and customer service poor.” – Gerald McGinty ⭐☆☆☆☆ November 2025
