“I recently purchased a house with solar and had no idea who the vendor was that installed it and was given no info at closing. A friend recommended Rick from RCI and he was great. It turned out my inverter was not working, and he came out and looked at it. He told me who my solar provider was, got me setup with an app on my phone and was very responsive. It turned out my solar system was under warranty, and he fixed my system for free! Good quality service and he is a nice guy who knows his business. “I would not recommend RCI Solar to anyone. We went through them and they were great until after the install. Granted it’s been a few years, but for me service after the sale is very important. I have spoken to Rob regarding out system and what appears to be some panels that look like they are burnt out. He tells me he will have someone check them out, which never happens. Now he won’t even return my calls. I have seen other systems that are older than our and they look fine, but not mine. “Rob at RCI Solar gave me a bid to install solar panels on the roof of my house. I signed a contract in April. After 3-4 weeks I finally got a drawing, which I approved, and was told that the permits were submitted in May. I followed-up multiple times over the next couple of months to check on status and was told that they were waiting for approval from the city and Lodi Electric. After 3+ months I finally called the main office and talked to the owner who told me that the permits were never submitted and that they had decided they reneged on the quote and didn’t want to go through with the project… but never contacted me. So, their sales rep spent 2-3 months lying to me and now after waiting all summer for them to install solar, I’ve got to start all over again with another vendor.
