“We got quotes from 3 companies, Renewable USA was the only company to answer all of our questions and answer the ones we had not known to ask yet. Unlike the other sales people who came to quote us, Brady and Nick actually knew the product they were selling and all of the install and permit requirements. They gave us actual completion dates and told us what to expect from the City and local electric company. They also got us both the Federal and city rebates that were available at that time. Once the contract was signed, the arrival of the solar panels happened quickly and the work began. The team doing the install were professional and very courteous. The project was completed on time, the city came out for final inspection and the system has been running without issues since. Most months we only pay the service charges that everyone has on their bills. Renewable USA can monitor our system and will know if anything is wrong before we do. Plus we can check it (phone app) any time. In the beginning we looked at it every night, now we look at it maybe once a month because it just works! “April 14, 2023 was the NEM 2.0 deadline and this company was doing there best to get my application along with other customers approved by this deadline. As a result, they were backlogged as were other solar companies. However, patience prevailed and they came through with a new composition roof on the south facing roof where the solar would be installed and installed the solar panels and electrical support equipment within a few days. The workers were very good and the quality of workmanship is excellent. Brady followed through with the hook up and installation of switches and controllers as needed. His explanation of how it works was thorough and he reassured me that their support would be there when needed. “I really dislike writing bad reviews, but I have been really patient . Our tax guy recommended us to this company because he knew the person from this company and he had a good experience . It’s been a year and until now our solars for our back house are not working . I have spoken to Nick and he said someone would return my call after giving him my information . I have text him as well and no answer . I financed the solar and I’m still paying for it . It really sucks !! I’m beginning to think that maybe all the good reviews are from family and friends . I would never use this company . I can’t believe it has 4.5 stars . I was considering using them for my main house , but I went with tesla and glad I did . I have not had any problems with them since day one . Any issue I had it was resolved . Now I don’t know what to do . Call the financed company ? “DO NOT USE THEM!!! I chose this company for my solar installation because they’re local, and I expected better service and personal attention. Unfortunately, that couldn’t be further from my experience. From day one, I’ve faced so many issues I can hardly cover them all here. First, during installation, they drilled holes all the way through my roof in the middle of the rainy season, causing my house to flood twice, damaging my furniture and belongings. Since then, every time something goes wrong with the system, I practically have to beg them to come out and fix it. I end up feeling uncomfortable and awkward, as if I’m being a nuisance just for asking them to do their job and ensure the system they sold me actually works. For example, my 2-gateway meter has been down since September (nearly three months now), and though they initially promised to address it, they’ve been completely unresponsive. I’ve sent multiple texts with no reply. Out of sheer frustration, I finally called Enphase to find a different provider who can come and check it–thankfully, they’re coming next week. Meanwhile, I’m still stuck paying off a loan for a system that’s brought me nothing but trouble. “After wavering for years, the prospect of $400+, and rising, Edison bills every month, clarified my thinking. I settled on Renewable USA after research and getting positive recommendations from 3 people whose had used them for their solar installations. I am beyond satisfied. Brady and Nick answered every question, offered choices of tech, and explained all the steps, including the city permit and inspection process. The crews were professional and respected any questions or concerns I had. Were there hiccups? Yes, but they arose from my house being older (built in 1948) and some connections and wiring in panels took more work. There was a lot of ‘extra’ work, and were no extra charges. Do the research, determine what current and future power demands are in the mix, and figure out one’s financial capabilities.
