“Revco took months to install my system. As part of the contract they replaced and upgraded my main electrical panel. I will include only the short story here. My system was down an multiple occasions especially during peak summer months. It usually took multiple days for them to return my call for service. Then a couple of days would pass before the technician made it out to fix the problem. It was always just a reset of the system and then it would go out again. After many service call I finally demanded that SunPower take over. SunPower’s technician inspected the entire system and found no problem. He then decided to check the main electrical panel and found that the AC wire was loose and was arcing when the AC went on. This caused the solar to be interrupted. Revco denies this could have been the issue even though I saw the loose wire with my own eyes and a full report supported this. The system has never shut down since this wiring problem was fixed. “The sales man promised the federal and state tax incentive if we signed a contract by 12-05, we did not get insultaion until 6-06, so we could not get the state. The delay in instalation was not communicated to us, we finally called and kept getting estimated dates for over 4 months until finaly insulation happened. The guys who did the insulation were great, Laura the manager/administrator not very good at comunication or coustermer service. (I think she was the owners daughter). Several of my neighbors have asked about my system, I have given the names of the other contractors I considered. The system was delayed in SCE allowing it to be turned on because Revco did submit complete paper work, I think anyways I remember I had to leave my job and go home to fax some paper work that SCE had sent me to them so they could send to SCE.” – Anonymous ⭐☆☆☆☆ November 9, 2006

“They were excellent. I found them online and I sent them an e-mail because I needed a quote. They got back to me within in a few hours and then they were out within two days to look and give me the estimate. It was very reasonable and then within the next 7 days they installed and it is working perfectly. They are really good and very professional. I expected it be around $8000 and it ended up being about $5300. They did give discount for certain things. The equipment I had was perfect so they discounted several things. They claim the warranty was not theirs. They claim the Solar Panels they sold us were warranted from “Fifco”. So now we have no warranty. We bought this system to have a warranty.
