“I wanted to share my review for RGV Solar, Isai, and his staff. I did my due diligence and shopped around a few companies when I was in the market for a solar system. The difference between RGV Solar is night and day from everyone else. The sales presentation, the presentation overall, the customer communication, and also the installation process was something that I was very happy with. My system has been installed for two years and I haven’t had any problems or issues whatsoever. However, I’ve still reached out to RGV Solar and they were able to answer all my questions and be very helpful even after all this time. I’ve already recommended RGV Solar to a few friends and family and I believe one of them has already signed up as well. “Company was paid to install solar panels and roof vents. After the panels were installed I paid the balance for the entire job, company was dodging calls, texts, and emails we sent to get the roof vents installed. After the terrible customer service and lack of communication, we requested a refund of $1914.00. Company is refusing to refund this unless we sign a Non Disparagement agreement. “The owner owes a bunch of commission, payment, completed service, etc. to folks as can be seen in reviews by different people that don’t even know each other, including customers who had paid 5+ figure cash down payments prior to the owner flying off to Cancun and also to Colombia before any work was complete, and then he doesn’t respond to repeated attempts to communicate about it. “Installed my solar system on my brand new home. The project took longer than what they said it would to be fully functional. Roof has been leaking since. “My roof needed replacement, and before that could happen, the roofing company contacted RGV Solar to disconnect and later reconnect my solar panels. The RGV Solar crew was outstanding. They removed the panels carefully, placing them safely out of the way while the roofers worked. Once the roof was finished, the solar team returned and efficiently reinstalled my system. “This negative review is due to the owner’s refusal to pay the agreed upon referral fee for a project based on the original agreed upon payment terms, and failure to follow through for getting customers taken care of in a timely manner. We asked for updates several times over multiple days with little to no response and always pushing back the date. We have confirmed from the bank that funding was paid out for this project and we even got partial payment after several initial attempts but now there is a straight refusal to pay.
