“Do not consider using this company to put shingles on your roof or perform any other work on your home. Overpriced, poor quality, and zero customer service. Insurance agreed to replace my roof for approximately $33,000. Since Ridge Valley put the new roof on 2.5 years ago, I’ve had six different water leaks at different locations. I’ve requested to have them put a new roof on multiple times but they keep finding reasons not to. One of their own technicians sent me a document in writing stating the leaks are definitely due to a workmanship issue associated with the installation. I finally got another company to repair it — they found no flashing had been installed around the chimney, causing the leaks. It cost me over $8,000 to repair the roof and drywall. When I finally reached the owner after 4 weeks of trying, he told me not to call them anymore and used a racial slur. During the roof tear-down they did not place a tarp around the house, leaving over 5 pounds of nails in the yard that I had to clean up — they ended up in my neighbor’s yard too and he stepped on one, with two small children playing outside.
