“Stay away. They sent drunk workers to the house – twice. The Sales Rep lied to me. I caught them trying to rip me off by tearing off good wood and destroying my fascia. Lies, deception. When I tried to speak with “Mike” the production manager, he tried to bully me and then said he should have walked away from my roof. He then hung up. “One of the best companies I dealt with for extensive hurricane repair. Everything went smooth even when I had to have additional plywood & facia lumber… they had it delivered same day. They replace 26 sheets of ply and about 110 ft of facia. Their carpenters did excellent work. Hauled everything away like they were never here. “I had Roman Roofing repair minor tile loss of roof tiles and ONE minor leak over my glass roof after Hurricane Ian. May 2023. It asked for $1,200, which I paid. The company sent two workers, who went up the roof. Before I knew anything, within one hour or so, I found them gone. At next rain, the same spot leaked. In spite of their written warranty of one year free labor to redo the job, they refused to come back. The manager said if I needed their service, it had to be a new “ticket” of work. He said, even if the work order is written, they are so busy that I had to wait for my turn, despite ACTIVE LEAK!!! This company’s lofty description of their business is faulty. The gutter accumulated water. They installed all the way to the ground leaving no room for run off. “BUYER BEWARE!! Roman roofing put the wrong color shingles on my house. I was unable to be there for the job and when I was finally able to get to the house to see the finished product they put the wrong color it. I have a notarized contract with the color I chose. There was no change order to indicate the color should have been changed. It’s absolutely unacceptable for a business to so blatantly breach contract and then give a customer the run around. I followed every proper protocol, yet they still pulled a classic bait-and-switch maneuver. Now I’m stuck with the wrong color shingles that detracts the exterior paint scheme. They assured me the situation was being addressed, but then went totally radio silent. They will not return my messages. Such an unscrupulous, unethical company clearly has zero integrity or concern for their customers. You will surely find yourself in an infuriating, stressful, and financially damaging situation like mine. “Stay away from Roman roofing. They botched my roof with damaged plywood and the roof is sagging when I brought it to their attention they said wait 6 months for the roof to settle. I had an independent roof inspector come out and he said he saw this issue before and its definitely the plywood they used. The trusses are visible because all the plywood they used is sagging.
