Rumos Chem review

Positive reviews:

“Had a ground mount solar system with battery installed by Rumos Chem. Very happy with it. They used high quality name brand equipment and made sure that everything was installed correctly. They always responded to emails etc. quickly and politely even after the installation and payment. I chose Rumos Chem originally since they offered a descent price without all the salesmanship rhetoric that I was getting from other solar companies.” – Larry S. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ July 30, 2025

“Rumos Chem was excellent to work with. They were prompt and competent. The system has been functioning for about a week and the results are right on target for their design. I would definitely recommend them.” – David E. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ January 6, 2025

Positive reviews:

“Rumos Chem not only did an outstanding technical job on my solar array, but it particularly excelled at communication pre-sale, during the project, and in follow-up afterward. Jay showed flexibility in adapting the proposal to my specific needs, and their contract was fair and clear. A great choice for me, even with stiff competition on EnergySage.” – John Ashby ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ July 2026

“Good experience with Rumos Chem! Sam and Michael were both helpful and the installation team did a great job getting my system back operational after an unbelievable hailstorm! Definitely would recommend!” – Scott Orr ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ June 2026

Negative reviews:

“DO NOT go through Rumos! Just DONT! We have been trying to get our solar panels installed since NOVEMBER. Materials have been sitting in our yard since October. It is now February…. Yes you read that right … FEBRUARY. We have been ghosted by the company & just left to go back and forth with the installer on our own. The 1st installer we had was fired mid job possibly…I’m not sure?? But he disappeared. We had to hunt down our new installers because Rumos was telling us days the new installers were going to show up but when I called the new installers myself they hadn’t had ANY dates set up for us…so RUMOS lied. The company doesnt even follow up with you to see how the job is going. It’s absolutely insane how this company is ran. I have missed soooo much work on days sitting at home waiting for the first set of installers to show up just for nothing!!! I’m talking 7-8+ days of no calls no shows. We have had people at our house installing maybe a total of 5x in the past 4 months & the job still ISN’T DONE! not to mention the 1st installers installed the panels wrong so the new installers had to move them but could only adjust so many without having to remove ALL OF THEM. AGAIN…. They were thrown into this mess & none of it is their fault. These new installers are great….however we are beyond frustrated with RUMOS themselves. The new installers have just been thrown into this mess so I feel for them. We would 100% of cancelled all of this if we had known this is how this experience was going to be. The Rumos guy that we have been communicating with over the course of a year has told us repeatedly “I’ll make it right” “I’ll make it right”……yet he has done nothing but ghost us. Absolutely NOTHING to “make it right”. We have lost wages because I have been missing work over & over. Don’t go through this company. Go elsewhere because there is no way you can have any worse of experience by choosing someone else.” – Alice Paustian ⭐☆☆☆☆ July 2026

“i am very happy with the solar cell installation & performance, they did and excellent job.” – William Beck ⭐⭐☆☆☆ 2025
