J.R. came out and looked at it right away and he even came back out to meet a second time to go over everything with our adjuster. J.R. and his team were all very professional and took good care of our roof for us. They made the process as painless as possible. “Price significantly different from the agreed quote, it appears to me that they are trying to scam the insurance company, especially since the initial quote was lower than the insurance estimated. What they do is, they quote the customer a lower price to get the business, then they use they send a significantly higher price to the insurance, and use the customer as the middle man to get the money. “Where do I start. Would never recommend this company. First the trailer was dropped at 8:30 pm. They worked until 5:30 pm way to dark to finish a job. Horrible clean up if you call it that. I still have tar on my driveway granules everywhere. The next day we looked at the work. Over spray on shingles, cuts in shingles, no caulking around vents, nails sticking up, ridge going two different ways. Never moved patio furniture back where it was, left in the yard. Called them to get it taken care of they said they would back on Saturday came on Sunday two weeks later. Did what they thought was OK still a C- rating in my opinion. Still didn’t clean up. “The contractor, believe it was Scott, came out within a couple days of requesting a roof replacement estimate. After the site visit was told an estimate would be provided within a few business days. Called back 3 times after the few business days passed to get the estimate, and unfortunately, the contractor never got back to me, nor ever provided an estimate. Based on the poor responsiveness, and lack of professionalism in responding, I can’t imagine what the actual roofing installation work would be like. J.R.’s communication was great from what I wanted, the options available, scheduling during a time when there were storms in the forecast, to my satisfaction at the end. “Walking past a home while getting the mail and there are workers working on a roof with a Scott’s roofing sign in the front yard. They had their equipment including a ladder layed directly across the sidewalk, which ok it’s fine they’re just doing their job or cleaning up and I can walk around. But then a worker that sees me coming down the sidewalk walks directly at me while staring at me and almost stabs me with one of his tools.
