They found that the line had been clean cut by a concrete saw and they took extra time and care to replace it without having to rip up the new pavers. While out there they also properly connected some lights that were not turning on and off together. Their pricing war fair and even though they took extra time to get it done right they didn’t waiver from the initial quoted rate. “As simple as a the plug on this GHI SI electric changed out Oct 2018, ok 1 yr but a decent company that cares about the clients no matter how much they spend should not make them pay more $ to come out and see why in 1 year has this stopped working? I paid171.00 to change out 2 GHI plugs and the bathroom one from the plug that worked and now this one does not. I tried to reach the owner Judy for 2 days she would not return my calls. Very Upsetting I cancelled the call told the office staff to forget it !!!! I read BBB reviews and they just argue whatever the customer has to say so what’s the point in trying. “We where helping a friends estate get her house sold and the breaker box got flagged. There are 2-3 brands of breaker boxes that insurance companies don’t want to insure. I guess they are prone to catching fire. SI Electric was referred by a friend. My father is a remodeling contractor in another state so I know about house, I’m no electrician but I have seen lots of contractors over the years. They came out and gave me an estimate. They was able to schedule me quickly because we had a potential buyer for the house. They came out on time. Her guts were clean and courteous. In the few days that took for them to come out and do the box the contract on the house fell through. We asked them to look at the house over for any other electrical issues. They found numerous illegal junctions, ungrounded exterior outlets. Let’s just say it wasn’t just a few little things. The previous owner had spliced into the wiring in numerous places adding outlets around the house. All of them were done improperly with no permits. I’m so glad they found all the problems and fixed them all. In the end we went through a number of contracts on the house resulting in four or five different home inspectors coming in. “After another electrician diagnosed my power problem, he didn’t want to do the job. I called a half dozen other companies that never bothered to call me back. My chiropractor told me to contact Judy @ SI Electric. They called me right back, set an appointment *same day*, which happened to be on Christmas Eve. They were on time. “Do not choose this electric company to service your electric needs. Just so you all know, not only have I never left a negative review about a company on a review site, but I have never contacted the BBB until now. The company came out to replace wiring on a pool pump and after an hour and a half told me the (brand new) pump was fried. Good thing I took it to a pool store before purchasing a new one. My pump was in excellent condition. And not only that, they did not replace the fuse for the fridge all the way back into the box (not even sure why they moved fuses around, they could not even explain this themselves) and the next morning I woke up to defrosted food in the freezer and warm food in the fridge.The only thing wrong with the pump was it needed a new fuse in the box. They were here and charged me for an hour and fifteen minutes worth of work and all of that time in the fuse box they didn’t realize the fuse was incorrect. I texted then as soon as I realized the fuse wasn’t replaced correctly and since then it has been a disaster to deal with them.This company threatened a lien on my home only 20 days after service! They had no intensions of trying to make anything right. Never even acknowledged they made a mistake and couldn’t explain why a master electrician of 40 years didn’t realize the fuse was incorrect.BEWARE!” – Patricia ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2018
