What Do Customers Say About the Solar Energy Systems?
Negative reviews:
“Sol Systems is supposedly managing my SRECs. However, they have been withholding the money from the sale of my REMOVED, claiming that I have not selected a payment method. That claim is patently false. I had selected a payment method and gave my bank details months before the first payment should have happened. On their website, they have a phone number plus extension listed to contact them. However, when I called that number, there is a recording saying “”We are currently not offering phone support””. They say to send an email marked “”urgent”” to get a fast response. I have sent a half dozen “”urgent”” emails, but there has been no response. They appear to be quite happy just to hang on to my money. If there is any other option for you to sell your SRECs, I recommend that you take it and you avoid Sol Systems.” – Wes L ⭐☆☆☆☆ February 6, 2026
“I had REMOVED. Never had any issues. Now that my service got transferred to Sol Systems, they somehow didn’t get the bill from FPL, didn’t pay it, and I got my service disconnected. No warning, no nothing.Customer support told me that their only solution was for them to process a payment which could take 48 hours to process. So they were ok leaving me 48 hours without power. With a newborn home, in the middle of summer in REMOVED, my wife not able to work from home and having to time unpaid time off.. This ended costing us hundreds of dollars, and all they could do was offer a $15 company credit…Let’s just say that I’m not super happy with them.” – Remy S ⭐☆☆☆☆ November 12, 2024
Positive reviews:
“I enjoyed the experience. I would return if I were at a more basic level. I learned many things with this employer. Skills and knowledge that helped me to advance my careers. I really enjoyed working for this employer” – Solar Panel Installer ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ September 5, 2019
“Love my fellow employees, management and bosses. Would love to work once again with this company. But I need to get back to my true love being able full electrician.” – Electrician ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ March 15, 2017
Negative reviews:
“Several months into an industrial scale project, a new crew of lower paid, inexperienced and untrained general laborers were brought in. Within weeks, trained experienced people were let go.” – Solar Panel Installer ⭐☆☆☆☆ May 31, 2019
“Mismanagement, planning and design flaws repeatedly put our project behind schedule with wreckless speed ups and unexplained terminations the default remedy while no superiors were ever held accountable for production issues.” – Solar Panel Installer ⭐☆☆☆☆ November 8, 2018

Do We Recommend Solar Energy Systems Services?
Average Performer
Solar Energy Systems gets the Average Performer badge and works in 2 states, but their third-party ratings don’t go above 4. Local community trust isn’t their strong suit either – their score is 1.9 in our evaluation. This badge means they are somehow reliable, but you need to pay more attention to what they have to offer. While Solar Energy Systems may not lead the pack, they are certainly recognized for their capacity to meet a broad range of solar installation needs with commendable customer satisfaction. When considering this solar installer, you can add Solar Energy Systems to your list as a lower priority and one that requires additional research before you decide to work with them.
