“ZERO BIG ZEROS This thing makes you put at least one star. Ordered my solar panels one year no interest. They never completed the job. Have called several times, actually saw the owner Bill at a fundraiser he said he would call me the next week. It’s been about 6 months now. They charged 11k more than agreed upon turned it into a collection company. The panels still aren’t hooked up! I have several leaks in my new roof and to add salt whatever you think you will save on electric you will not because your insurance goes up more! “We were very impressed with Solar Fit. From our sales person, Sam, to Bill, the owner, the office staff and installers, everyone treated us like we were their most important customer. After being given some misinformation from another company, Bill invited us into the office to show us the quality of the materials to be used. He was able to give us the system we wanted at a price we could afford and had many financing options available. Our payments will be less than what we will save on our electric bill. And we have added a lot of value to our home. The permitting was handled and installation scheduled quickly. The installers were on time, polite, fast and neat. “I am so totally not happy with the service from Solar Fit. I have not had my Solar panels working since the end of December and it is because of their poor service. They came out in Feb and turned the panels off then the circuit breaker it worked for a day. I called several times and they finally came out in March and said it was a part that was corroded but they only had one part and they needed 2 and that they would order it. I have since called many times to find out when the part will be installed. I was told several times the Service manager would call. Still waiting. “I called Solar Fit for a repair and the young man that arrived at my house was very polite however the solar system was not repaired and is still leaking. He started with this part (adapter) and we do not have it and we do not carry it however if we run across one maybe we can call you and replace the part. “Solar-fit was the company who had serviced the solar heating unit for my pool with the previous owner of the home. It began leaking so I called to schedule a service call. There was a bit of a wait for the service call because their schedule was full but the communication was excellent and they even moved up my appt. The technicians were great and they fixed the leak in about an hour. They were also great when I asked a few questions to get more knowledgeable on the unitz settings and scheduling etc. the service call and repair cost was reasonable considering they had to get on the roof to repair and it requires specific parts. “My experience with this company has been horrible. They were great at scheduling appointments when they had a potential buy. They lie about taking panels down or I should say tell half truths. We sold our house the day after we got our panels (3 months after signing the contract and beginning payments). We were told at time of sale panels could go with us and they would come take them down and put them back up on our new house…sure for $6000 more!! Blind sided! Then 3 months later we get the panels up on our new house and we can’t get anyone to come out and hook up our monitoring to our internet, so now 2 years later we are not sure what our panels are doing for us.
