“I had Solar Gain come in to install an additional battery on my system. When they turned on the power, they blew two adapters. One for a remote control on a ceiling fan and they blew out my doorbell circuit. They fixed the fan but the fact that I had a Ring doorbell, the problem wasn’t apparent for a while. Solar Gain, Inc. basically told me to pound sand. I even offered to pay them. NOPE! I do not recommend them. They create problems and won’t work with you to fix them on any level. “Solar Gain ruined my life. I am a teacher, and very much look forward to my summer vacations. My apartments hired Solar Gain to install panels. Construction started in June, and here we are a week into September with no end in sight. There was stomping, hammering, drilling, loud music, and yelling at 6:30 a.m. three months ago, that is continuing through today. I’m on doctor’s orders to quarantine for five days due to COVID-19, but can’t get any rest. My bedroom has basically been a construction zone at 6:30 a.m. for the last 90 days. Solar Gain, wrap it up already. And just because the workers don’t want to work in the heat, doesn’t mean they won’t randomly shut off your electricity and leave it off all day during the hottest days of the summer. Neither Solar Gain or Scotia Group has reached out with any sort of compensation for how awful this ordeal has been on us renters.
