Solar Landscape review

Solar Landscape gets the Average Performer badge and works in 3 states, but their third-party ratings don't go above 4. Local community trust isn't their strong suit either - their score is 3.8 in our evaluation. This badge means they are somehow reliable, but you need to pay more attention to what they have to offer. While Solar Landscape may not lead the pack, they are certainly recognized for their capacity to meet a broad range of solar installation needs with commendable customer satisfaction. When considering this solar installer, you can add Solar Landscape to your list as a lower priority and one that requires additional research before you decide to work with them.

What do Customers Say about the Solar Landscape?

bbb.org

Positive reviews:

“I am very happy to be with Solar Landscape. I have never had a problem with the company. The support was great either through telephone or email I always got someone to talk to. They promised and they delivered. I highly recommend them.” – Emil B ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ February 1, 2025

“The shape of my roof did not allow solar panels, therefore I was elated to be able to have solar energy thru Solar Landscape. I have been completely satisfied with Solar Landscape.” – Mr. Sidney S ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ January 1, 2025

Negative reviews:

“Signed up with this company in Dec 2024 with going live in spring then pushed to summer and now fall or winter! ******** with no recourse!Think this is a scam!” – Linda B ⭐☆☆☆☆ June 24, 2025

“I signed up and was assigned a project in November of 2024. I have been in contact with customer service which tells me that it will be 3 to 6 months until it starts up. Maybe some poeple have a good experience with the company, but I find it to be a scam.” – Eric M ⭐☆☆☆☆ June 18, 2025

Positive reviews:

“The hardest part of the job was work stoppage or transitioning from job site to job site. There were gaps in work flow, and the job was not salaried, which made it financially difficult to remain an employee for their company. Solar Landscape provided the tools and training to be a successful member of their team. I learned a lot on the job in terms of installation of solar panels and other electrical equipment as well as operation of heavy machinery. Safety was high on the priority list as was respect among employees. Some of the employees were not in great shape when they showed up to work though. Management was overall helpful in terms of direction and instructions. The workplace culture was overall very positive, and I enjoyed working outside even during the winter months, which were tough on your body.” – Emil B ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ February 1, 2025

Negative reviews:

“What is the best part of working at the company? The work is easy and some of the people are really down to earth I guess it depends on what crew you on and what they expect from you as a employee. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The distance from where I live they could have put me on a crew that was doing jobs closer to my address.” – Linda B ⭐⭐☆☆☆ June 24, 2025

“The company has terrible leadership and a toxic culture. Management will tell you to stay in your lane if you display any ambition or desire to learn anything outside of your function. If you attempt to increase collaboration across business units then you can potentially run into feudal behavior where management views this as a threat to them.” – Director of Subscriber Operations ⭐☆☆☆☆ December 24, 2024

Positive reviews:

“With Community Solar, I didn’t even need panels on my roof to go solar! Signing up was super easy, and I still get my regular JCP&L bill — only now it includes a community solar discount from Solar Landscape. With the recent rate hike, that savings really means a lot. Thank you, Solar Landscape!” – stevecathy2010 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ October 18, 2025

“I had such a great experience with easily signing up for this program. It seemed almost too good to be true and trust me my husband and I looked for the holes. I love How this company carries out its mission by using the roofs of buildings for the solar panels and allowing consumers to benefit without installing their own. We had solar panels on our previous home and have been missing that benefit to our electric bill especially with summer coming. This simplified our choice in not installing our own in a complicated market. CHECK IT OUT” – Shannon Martin ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ May 18, 2025

Negative reviews:

“Signed up and eventually realized my energy bill was nearly double what it would have been without it. Finally removed it (NRG 3rd party supplier) from my PSEG account, but they wouldn’t refund any of the extra money I was charged. Unclear billing practices. Steer away.” – Adam H ⭐☆☆☆☆ March 18, 2025

“If I could give this company 0 stars I would. First time they tried to take money my card declined them I called someone told me I wasn’t in their system than 3 months later they take money I dispute it me thinking since I disputed it that it wouldn’t happen again well guess what I’m told because I specifically didn’t say cancel my account they took money again from my account and they refuse to give me a refund. Don’t trust these people and I already put a call in to the BBB on how they do business” – April Wiltsey ⭐☆☆☆☆ November 18, 2024
