Positive reviews:

“It was a pleasure doing business with this standup company. Anthony was a very effective communicator and we worked through a problem easily because of his calm and professional demeanor. Would definitely do business with Solar Medix in the future!” – Robert F. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ April 18, 2024

“Phil and Joey were very professional and very through. I appreciated the fact that they were very knowledgeable as well. Thank you after months of back and forth, finally feeling some relief” – Jennifer S. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ November 1, 2023

Negative reviews:

“I requested a few replacement solar panels after a repair, from an animal chewing a wire, they sent me a quote to install a animal guard for thousand dollars and $300 or so to replace the panels I told them that I would just wanted the panels replaced and they said that they would not do that! So they were padding the bill for something that I didn’t need.I never requested a critter guard and no discounts were reflected you just added the critter guard to pad your price and as far as sourcing them you told me you could have them in a day or two .” – Mark F. ⭐☆☆☆☆ September 5, 2023

Positive reviews:

“Although I was only with the company for 6 months (no fault of theirs), I immediately felt welcomed as a member of the Solar Medix family. Whether its the NJ or NY office, I did not meet an individual I did not click with. Great work environment. Whether you have years of experience or limited, they’re willing to train you to be successful. Highly recommend giving this company a go!” – Field Service Technician ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ May 16, 2023

“I’ve worked for larger corporate companies and don’t enjoy being a faceless number. I’ve found with this place a spot that will treat me well and as an adult. You are left alone as long as your jobs are done safely and proficiently but are there to support you if you need it. They are willing to help further your education if you do desire. This Company imo is as willing to help you as much as you do for them.” – Field Supervisor ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ March 14, 2023

Negative reviews:

“I had a disappointing experience working at Solar Medix as a solar technician. The work environment was toxic, with coworkers often engaging in drama and gossip. Management played favorites and even spread personal information about employees. Quality was not a priority, and the warehouse frequently lacked necessary materials. When materials were missing, technicians were unfairly blamed. The job consumed all my time, leaving no work-life balance. Using PTO meant having to make up the time on a Saturday, and failure to do so led to write-ups. The management was poorly organized, and any minor mistake could result in disciplinary action. Additionally, the company trucks were in terrible condition, and getting stranded on the way to a job was a common occurrence. Overall, the experience was extremely negative, and I would not recommend working here.” – Solar Technician ⭐☆☆☆☆ September 22, 2024

“There isn’t much to say about this job, they’re a small company so expect little to no benefits and raises. There’s a lot to learn here but not enough to grow.” – Technician ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ March 25, 2022

“I contacted Solar Medix replace two DC string inverters on our 15 year old solar array. As it turned out, they were able to correct some wiring instead of replacing the inverters! Thank you for doing a fantastic job! They saved us a few thousand dollars! And I highly recommend them!” – George H. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ September 2022

Positive reviews:

“We had a ground fault error code on our system, and after several attempts to reach our original installer, we called Solar Medix. They were kind, professional, and very communicative both through phone/email before our appointment and in-person when resolving our issue. I will definitely use them in the future for my solar maintenance needs.” – Holly Simon ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ December 2025

“My SunPower installed system started giving strange behavior 20 months after install. Some days no production, some days good production, some days no production until midday. Very odd. Assumed it was an issue with panels, microinverters or wiring. Joey came and spent about 45 minutes diagnosing (visually inspecting panels on the roof, checking connections in basement, etc.) and told me problem seemed to be the my utility (PSEG NJ) was pushing too high a voltage into the house, which caused the microinverters to go off line. PSEG has been in to make some changes and things seem to be much better. Highly recommend Solar Medix based on my experience.” – m m ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ December 2025

Negative reviews:

“customer service is terrible. Non of them reply when your solar system is down. I would absolutely not recommend .My system has been down for 6 months and they continue to ignore me. Its so upsetting and I feel scammed.” – Antonella Fuchser ⭐☆☆☆☆ September 2025

“My solar installer shut down and these guys came in and helped tremendously around two years ago. Awesome service. Don’t hesitate to use them” – radiculus27 ⭐☆☆☆☆ 2025
