“My experience with Alan was complete opposite to the 35 perfect reviews posted here. I agreed with a quote, signed the agreement and a tech was sent to check my roof. It was report everything was fine. I got an invoice and a total of $7700+ initial payment was sent. Weeks later, I have not heard from anyone. I checked and Alan called and said the roofer had a “”2nd thought”” about my roof. They want $12,000 for a new roof so that the solar installed could be done right. I declined and requested my money back. Alan had been responsive every time I messaged him about where is my money. The responses were “”it will be sent this week””. The 3rd time he said the check was cut and would be mailed Monday. A week later, no check. I finally sent an email to the company and told them I am going to Consumer Affairs and file a complaint. Alan’s wife immediately responded and said she would send me my money. Two days later, I received a check in the mail. Why my experience is so different from others?
