“To begin with, the salesperson (Paul B.) that came to our home was vey thorough except for one thing….. he failed to mention to either myself or my husband that the loan we took out with their finance company ALSO attached a lien to our home. We would NEVER have agreed to this if that was properly disclosed. We were trying to refinance our home to consolidate car loans, and discovered we couldn’t because of this. “I was skeptical when I went from my hourly job to door to door sales for solar at 100% commission but if you show up, work hard, and learn from those around you, YOU WILL MAKE MONEY. As far as solar companies go, they have the best compensation plan and actually provide meaningful training. My first month there I made over $2500, and I barely worked 10 hours a week. The company is built on teamwork so you’ll always have people at your back willing to help you along with understanding managers. “This company completely misrepresented themselves with their door knocker. They will lie to you that you don’t have to purchase the solar panels just to get an appointment set and then the next representative comes for the appointment and explains that he is just there to sell you solar panels. “Solarise would not be my first choice if I had the chance to purchase solar all over again. My main problem with the company revolves around their ‘guarantee’ to generate enough electricity to cover your usage. They informed me just prior to my purchase that they would review my yearly electric consumption. They stated that at any point should my consumption not be covered by my production they would install another panel for free. Absolute lie! I was deficient in my production this winter but when I addressed the issue with the company (to which they agreed I could probably expect larger bills in the winter) they basically told me that they fulfilled their promise of production. To be fair, the rest of the, ‘solar experience’ was probably about average with the exception of the time it took to get the install done. They were back-logged and it was difficult at times to get the different technicians out to the house in a timely manner.If the company had simply done what they promised with the extra panel, this review would have been much different.
