“My experience with Solstice Solar has been perfect (so far). Installation day was over a year ago but the crew did their job quickly and cleaned up really well. I’ve had the solar for over a year now, and I can say that everything we were told was accurate. I had an incident very recently where I lost the power to my house; I’ll admit I got very upset and immediately blamed Solstice Solar. They sent someone right away to address the issue, which later turned out to be an outage in the area that they had nothing to do with. “I had an existing Enphase system that I wanted to AC couple into the EG4 product line, but to make it even more difficult I also have a standby generator. So I was looking for a full micro grid solution and that is exactly what I got! I have just under a 19kW solar system that is now feeding into a GrdidBOSS, which is feeding 2 FlexBOSS 21’s and 4 of the new EG4 314Ah batteries and that is also backed up by my 22kW standby generator! The days of relaying in the grid are over for me, with solar, batteries and a generator I am now pretty much energy independent!!! “I choose Solstice Solar after contacting three other companies. What sold me on Solstice was they had a actual person to come out and review the install at my house. He assured there was enough room on the back wall to mount all the disconnects and the Franklin A2 box. Things were looking good until the factory for the solar panels caught fire. So Colby , Mohammed and I agreed to lower wattage panels and different invertors. This kept the install schedule on line. The electrician sent was very good. “Solstice runs a turnkey operation. They take care of all the HOA approvals. They took care of all the paperwork and permits and gave me 10% more solar capacity for 10 percent less money than Tesla wanted. Sold, and they did. They drafted up the whole HOA proposal, filed it and paid the permit fees. Dealt with everything from the energy provider. The HOA proposal was 18 pages long, and they wrote it. And the cost was less than Tesla wanted. Of course, Tesla came back and said, hey, we’ll match that price. But at this point, it’s too late. Like, why do I want to go back to you guys? Tesla energy is hard to work with and was being unreasonable. I signed the contract moved on, bought it from solstice. No regrets. I did still get the Tesla powerwall 3 and Tesla controller. “Poor service , Director of Business ( Mr. Ahammad Hijleh ) was advised that solar panels installed were not providing power to sustain power usage in my home. This was back in May 10, 2023 and he has yet to get back with me. A year after they installed , from the start this has been a complete and costly nightmare. My panels provide me less than a quarter of the power that they are to provide. I pay a costly monthly light bill and another $350.00 dollars a month for solar panels that are worthless. According to the project manager at the time ( Jennifer Luna ) she states in a e-mail that i have that engineers designed the project to maximize production of solar panels installed. This plan was presented to me for my approval a day after solar panel installation. Hope any one seeking solar panels go find someone reliable. “The only reason I’m not leaving 5 stars is because my panels aren’t operating yet so i can’t rate the product. But customer service from start to finish has truly been delightful. I’ve never met a sales rep so knowledgeable. Solstice Solar is a company for the customers-they do allot to make going solar a possibility for you. Ashley’s take over was seamless and she stayed with me every step of the way, answering all my questions. SS doesn’t leave you because you signed the papers! They make sure all your questions are answered, they make sure you get your solar panels and everything you were promised in a timely manner. The installers immediately got to work and completed the job within a few hours. They didn’t leave a mess. SS handles all the business with the HOA and electricity company. Very satisfied thus far. “Look no further in Houston. I already had solar and 3 Powerwall 2’s from a different installer 4 years ago. The Powerwall 2’s were a part of the Tesla recall and needed to be replaced. My original installer stopped doing solar, so I need to find a new installer. I also wanted to take this moment to add a 4th battery via an expansion pack. So I started googling solar installers in Houston and saw the great reviews with Solstice. I called and immediately was put in touch with Ashley who was extremely easy to work with as a project manager. She does an excellent job at communicating and over delivered on her timeline. “If you live in south eastern New Mexico I’d would be careful with these guy they came to install my solar panels and there guy hit one of my main lines. After they left I only had 75 percent power to my house I had no light on my front porch, hall way, dinning room, pantry, and back porch. When I informed them they said they would send someone over but they couldn’t find the problem. I called my own electrician he came and crawled through my addict checked my lines come to find out solstice men hit a line with screw when they where installing. I had to pay out of pocket because there electricians didn’t know what they where doing. My solar panels are finally up and running after a year later. “I had solar system installed , they made damages to my main electrical line prior to installing. They made installation prior to allowing me see and approve engineer specifications. Panels are not producing power to what their specifications were. I now pay an outrageous light bill along paying for panels that don’t produce what was promised.
