“It took a year and a half for me to start the process with Solterra to being ready to pull the trigger and they were more than happy to let me take my time. I wanted to fully understand what I was getting as well as future proofing the project and shoring up my own finances, Solterra was patient with me and thorough with every answer to each successive round of questioning. When I was finally ready to pull the trigger they set expectations that were reasonable to slightly conservative, definitely a under-promise over-deliver approach which I preferred to the alternative. Solterra took care of all the paperwork, setting up each house visit on my schedule, kept me in the loop on permitting, and was even able to squeeze me in a month earlier than expected. The actual installation took only two days for a 33 panel array. Absolutely stellar experience from the whole team, and a special thanks to Kendall for taking the time to thoroughly understand my goals and Mike for juggling an awesome electrical installation while entertaining my three year old. “If I could give 100 stars I would! The team were so great at communicating with me and gave me such a great deal! I shopped around of course and found that not only was Solterra much more affordable, their level of service was above and beyond. They were quick to slot me in for installation. The installers were knowledgable and answered all the questions I had in regards to Solar. I had no issues with their installation as it passed inspection with flying colors. I have a buddy who went with a different solar company and their installation was sub par. Their inspection failed and now they’re waiting for the solar company to come and fix their mistakes. He got his solar 2 months before mine and he’s still waiting on them. Make sure you guys don’t end up like my friend who’s still waiting for his solar to be turned on! Go with Solterra Solar. “Horrible customer service. They looked at our roof and gave us a bid. We signed a contract with them and took out a loan to purchase the equipment. Two weeks before the installation they wanted to reduce the warranty from 10 years to 2 years. We received an email about this on a Friday at 9:45pm before Kevin, our salesman, went on a week vacation. Very disappointed in the level of service they provided. “We had batteries and a Span panel installed and are really happy with the results. Marvin was our installer and made sure to tell me what he planned to do every day and the results at the end. Originally, we thought the batteries would have to be installed on the ground which would be less attractive and take up more space. However, they were able to mount them to the garage walls which was way better. Marvin definitely seemed to care about the quality of his work and was able to accommodate the layout that I requested. “I had 58 solar panels installed 10 years ago by Solterra. The installation and maintenance were great, 5 stars! Soon after they were installed, though, I called about a storage system and was told my microinverters were not compatible with any storage system, but innovations were coming. I called several times over the years, and again got the same answer. And I requested they contact me when this was available. This year I learned from a different source that a battery storage system could work with my microinverters. So, I called Solterra immediately, in September of this year, to schedule installation before the tax breaks expire, and was told they were too busy. “installation was good. a couple of years later a recall required the technicians to return. Fast forward to 4 months ago and I needed a new roof Solterra was too busy to remove and re position panels (and VERY expensive in their quote) for the roof to be placed, so I contacted another company. They found that the wiring had been done improperly, spliced and half of the array wasn’t producing due to the faulty wiring. Overall an extremely dangerous situation. “Very happy with the installation and performance of the equipment. We have 100% solar with battery bank back-up. Right from the beginning we were given the information we needed to choose the right product for our needs. When I questioned certain products I was immediately given advice and literature to educate myself. Once the installation began the crews were very professional and skilled. “Nick Richardson was awesome to work with, for that matter, the whole of SolTerra was great. Nick showed me an overview of what solar power is capable of and then tailored the system to my exact needs. “Their drivers are the worst. Talk about “”bringing good energy to Washington””. I was trying to merge into a lane as the van speeds all the way to try to not allow me to go. They proceed to get thisclose to my car to try to force me to swerve into oncoming traffic. I proceed to try to get in from behind the van as they flip me off. Honestly so unprofessional and they must’ve forgot they were in a work van.
