“I hired Sunergy 6 years ago. Originally, they did a good job, but here are the problems I’ve had since the install: 1.) Leaks! There was water intrusion into the inverter!! They “fixed” it by drilling a weep hole. I don’t know about you, but I’m *still* concerned about high voltage and water in the inverter! 2.) Leaks in the roof. They do not have proper on-call processes in place when their office is closed. I notified them about the leak and they were only able to get someone to the house to take a look 2 weeks later. 3.) They tried to skirt around their responsibilities to fix the actual damage in #2, and only wanted to put some caulk on the leak. Then they proposed an obviously sub-par (but cost-effective for them) solution to prey on an uninformed homeowner. 4.) They clean your panels with soap that has caused permanent stains on the panels. “Sunergy Systems did an excellent job installing my solar panel system in October 2023. Patrick was very patient answering all my questions, and the whole process was seamless on their part. They came the day they said they would, the 3-man crew was polite and professional, and they finished on time. Once the system was finally approved by PSE and I was allowed to turn it on, Patrick checked in to see if I had any questions. I highly recommend them and have to friends who have now also hired Sunergy to install their systems. Note: PSE takes a while to process the paperwork, and you can’t turn on the system until they come out. This is NOT Sunergy’s fault. Patrick was completely upfront about the process and warned me that this means your system will be fully installed but you will not be allowed to turn it on until PSE says so. April. 12, I made a phone call to Briana talking about ownership transfer, I got several warmhearted email to explain the benefit of the ownership transfer, April.18 I paid for $219.70 for the ownership transfer and ask the warranty copy, Briana involved Melissa for providing the warranty copy; but, till now (May,31) I didn’t get it, I sent several emails and every time the response comes several days later and told me I will start it soon – they just never start it, this is a piece of paper copies. Sunergy had done the barns 10-12 years ago and a different company the one on the house a little earlier. They worked their schedule around the roofers, answered all my questions, and it was all fully operational in 4 days. “This isn’t about their solar panels as I didn’t purchase theirs. This is about their community engagement and the respect they show to the communities they’re working in. I was walking down the narrow alley (no sidewalks) behind my house and their very impatient trunk driver honked at me to get out of his way. I explained there was nowhere to go and I was just trying to walk down my alley and he started a verbal altercation with me. He concluded by yelling “I don’t care that you’re walking.” His truck had blocked the alleyway all day while installing solar but he did not have the patience to wait 20 seconds for me to walk to a wider part of the alleyway where I could step aside with ample space.
