“Don’t trust this organization to facilitate your installation. They are only professional when it comes to sales. Once they have a signed contract forget anything discussed with the salesperson. Were told we only had one tree shading our roof and then with no notification, they cut down three beautiful pine trees in our backyard completely taking away all of our privacy. Sun Life has taken no responsibility and has tried every trick in the book but giving us a refund for the cost of any tree cutting. I have never engage with such an unprofessional group of men who clearly are only interested in their personal profits. They have no concern for customers and are only responsive when selling their product. We had multiple contractors show up with no notice including one who walked into our backyard taking pictures. “Dealing with SunLife and SunPower has been a bit of a nightmare. We requested to have our roof redone before the solar panels went up as it was getting up there in age. They skipped that step, put up the panels on an aging roof and now we have a hole in our roof. I have been calling for well over a month and there has been zero progress to get this fixed. The fact that there are two companies (SunLife which seems to deal with sales and financing and SunPower that deals with installation) makes it an extremely confusing process as now the two companies are arguing with each other over who’s fault it is while the hole in my roof gets steadily larger.
