“I began my research for my home project in 2021, and I received several quotes for my home. Five on line, and three in person. Out of those quotes, Switch Solar gave me the best price with 0% financing and extended warranty for 30 years. It has been two months and my 10.8 W system of 27 (400W) Panels are proving 120% of my current use. It also come with a Sunny boy inverter that serves a outlet back up during down grid time perfect for hurricanes to keep my fridge cooling at least during son day. I see the potential in solar power, and I will use Switch Solar again when the time comes to update my EV and disconnect from gas and oil companies. “The company said they could add a roof to the total loan and then when they got the money, the roofer started the job but did not pay when the job was complete. I had to pay the roofer and the company kept the profit for themselves. Lied about what was going to be in the package and when confronted with proof about the charges, they clammed up and would not even provide service calls. Nick Bianco is a fraud. Does not take responsibility for a job not done. I have an email from him that he will fix the issues and 2 months later, he does not respond to emails and also, he fired the salesperson who offered us the solar panels. “I decided to go with Switch Solar because the representative promised i would get more tax credit with him than with any other company. He told me i was going to get 40% back. Im filing my taxes now and Im unable to get the full 40% back. I reached out to the representative and he tells i need to do an extra step, I followed his instructions but I’m still unable to get the full 40%. Im trying to reach out to him again but he is not responding. At this point im tired of the back and forth missed information he is giving me. Secondly, the inverter broke down after only one month of installation. I have been waiting 2 weeks for them to replace it but no luck. In conclusion, dont trust the representative he will lie in order to sell you the solar panels. “I’m really disappointed with how unorganized this company is.We got the solar in 2020 and sign contract that state if it will cover the cost of remove and remount service with $x amount of dollar. So we have to replaceed out roof, and I have to show the people my contract to prove that, and once we paid for it , got delayed twice of removing the solar. As my roof was finished, I scheduled the mounting service twice, and no call no show by them. I have to hunt them down as there are not always people pickup the phone. Then they out of nowhere they are asking for $1500 material, and I was like what? It never has mentioned, and not on the contract. Why didn’t mentioned it at the begining? Now feel like a blackmail that if I don’t pay the extra, I won’t get them put back on? I have email and text and even the office lady was helping me to forward msg to the owner but hear nothing back. We been on the project since Nov 2025, and my roofe was finally replace in Jan 2026, and still trying to solve this problem.
