“Our solar installer file for bankruptcy before completion of our 37 panel system. No one would help us until we found the wonderful folks at Synergy Power. They are professional, understanding and keep up-to-date on the products they service. “After months of delay due to back order issues, a battery suddenly appeared towards the end of December & an installation appointment was scheduled. There was no coordination with PG&E, therefore my system is still not operational. I made several attempts to reach someone; one person laughed at me and said to call my sales representative, however, the operator told me that he was my new sales representative. I used the chat option (live person, not bot) on the website and requested to speak to someone authorized to discuss my concerns and they disconnected. “Synergy installed my solar system 2 years ago. Process was smooth and everything went as planned and we were very pleased. A year later we added a few panels and a heat pump, again very smooth and very happy. I recommended them to friends. Today I am more than likely going to sever my relationship with them. I’ve been trying to get a battery storage system quoted and installed for 7 months and still don’t have a quote. Their inability to execute or maybe the fact that my business isn’t important to them, have me looking elsewhere. And now that I have been looking I’ve found other solar companies that are more competitive with their pricing and are more knowledgeable about what they are quoting. “This owner is not professional and quite honest. #1 when my inverter blow out, he replaced the whole inverter – which is fine because I got the new version. But the fact he never explained to me if the inverter blows out the fuse, there is a simple switch inside the inverter box similar ta o regular fuse that I could put back on and get my power back. I did not know – never sealed with an inverter and solar before. His communication skill and his dishonest practice are not respectful to anyone to do business with his company. Watch! #2. My inverter blew out again because of an overload last month. I called him and talked to him. I sent him photos when I was sitting in the dark with no power. He never called me back. What a jerk! Has no REGARDS FOR HIS CUSTOMER. I called the inverter manufacturing, and simply they told me where the switch is located to turn it back on. “I have my 35 REC solar panels and 2 Tesla PW3 batteries installed by Synergy Power back in July 2025. It took them 3 days to install and made sure everything done correctly and they were very professional, polite and responsive. We are very happy with the project from the initial proposals all the way to the hand-off with Mike Keenan. Owner Jason personally supervised final inspection and compliance with whatever the City Inspector asked. But here is where I think they standout: first, they helped me with permitting my EV Charger and secondly they saved me a bunch of money ($4,740 to be exact) from my original contract by moving the location of my main electrical panel inside the garage (and still able to monitor my system with Tesla app by installing Tesla Backup Switch) so I don’t need the expensive Tesla Gateway 3 which by the way only has 4 breaker slots which will make you pick and choose things you can connect to your back-up batteries.
