“Texas Stag handles roofing jobs for a company that sells solar panels. I needed a new roof before I put any solar panels on, so the solar panel company connected me with Texas Stag. Texas Stag sent their employee out to take pictures of the roof, he said there was hail damage and I needed to file a claim with Texas Windstorm Insurance Association. I filed a claim with TWIA, but they needed more pictures. Texas Stag said they spoke with the TWIA agent and sent pictures, and TWIA agreed to cover part of the roof. I called the agent at TWIA and she said she hadn’t agreed to any coverage, she was waiting on more pictures. I still received several texts messages from Raul insisting that TWIA was going to cover part of the roof. He was trying to pressure me into e-signing a contract for the roof replacement without their price listed. He said “TWIA agreed to cover the roof, but they’re waiting until they see a contract signed by you before they do anything”. THAT IS A LIE! I had already spoken with her and she said she didn’t agree to anything. Besides, I’ve had claims before, the insurance company gives you the money, they NEVER ask to see a contract and they leave it up to you who you hire to do the job. When he finally emailed me a copy of the full contract, including the price, it was $7.000 MORE than the quote a local roofing company gave me for the complete job. He probably heard back from his roofer who told him I was a disabled single woman, and he was planning on taking advantage of me. My feet are disabled, NOT MY BRAIN!!! “Texas State roofing company installed a new roof on my moms house. They were fast , skillful, polite and cleaned the work site like it never happened. Rubin is a great salesman with no pressure and very knowledgeable about roofs.
