“I have had Green Panel add on onto my existing system about four years ago. Their price was very competitive and their work was excellent. However, what was outstanding was their service afterward. Some of the mini-inverters from my original system started to fail. I wanted to avoid the cost of having them replaced. The inverters themselves was still under warranty so there was no cost there. I told Green Panel I thought I could replace the mini-inverters. The did all of the leg work for me to claim my replacements under warranty without charge. They also reconfigured my internet site showing the new inverters without charge. I know this was a fair amount of work that I offered to pay for and they declined my offer. They have done other things to help me save money, Solar panels are a big investment but Green Panel does everything they can do to keep the cost down. “A typical day at work here is productive, yet laid back because the people who work there are very easy to get along with. I learned a whole lot about the solar industry while working there, as well as what it’s like to work in a small business that is growing exponentially. “We had them install 60 panels at our home 7 years ago. The installers were fantastic! No mess when they left! However, we have had 3 Solar Edge optimizers fail. The first time they charged almost $300 for the service call even though they are warrantied because they said they had to come from Brighton. Three techs arrived from Grand Rapids, less than 50 miles. These panels are less than 6 feet off the ground. Right now I am trying to get them to come out for the 3rd time. I paid them $193 three weeks ago and still can’t get a date for when they will come out. Kelley and Kevin better get ready because I’m fed up! I’ll be calling multiple times a day until I get an answer. Kevin has never called back even though he says he will get an answer and get back with me “as soon as I can”. “I am writing this review a year after installation because I think it is very important to review the whole experience. We had the Green Panel install a 47 panel system at our home 1 years ago 2023. The installers were great! Awsome group of guys! After the smoke cleared and the system producing as it should, lets talk about their customer service. The green panel is very quick to sell you a system, but be very very wary. In the inital stages of the quoting process getting a hold of the sales rep to follow up on anything was like pulling teeth. That was the first sign I should’ve caught on too. Sales communication is a big 0! As I mentioned the operations team were great, 5 stars! Fast foward 16 months later and I am still trying to get the green panel to honor the Maintenance Program agreement. They continue to ignore my calls and when I catch them off gaurd and they answer then realize it’s me they will give me a 4 to 6 weeks before anyone can get out here or they are short handed and backed up. The 4 to 6 weeks comes and goes and stilll no follow up. I don’t recommend anyone considering Solar go with The Green Panel, I suggest finding a company that will honor all aspects of the agreement.
