“Excellent service for a new solar + battery install. Quote was competitive and accurate. Unique was very accommodating in designing and installing alongside our our current leased system, which nearly every other solar company found confusing or difficult to work around. Matt coordinated with our preferred roofer which greatly helped the experience. Matt and Ulf both were skilled at anticipating and wading through SDGE regulations. Unique’s electrical contractor, Josh, was flexible, knowledgeable, and the install went smoothly at all 3-4 stages with only minor hiccups. (old panel, loose wire, minor stuff). Overall I’d recommend Unique to anyone for new installation, and upgrades or changes to an existing system, which we plan on in 5 years or so. “Unique Solar installed our 28-panel solar panel system several years ago. I am a retired engineer and spoke with three different companies to get bids. Ulf was the most knowledgeable of the three companies by far, and answered all of my questions before we pulled the trigger. The installation process went very smoothly, and included some roof repair that his team did from removing a prior solar pool heating installation. I’m very happy with the results, having saved thousands on our electric bills over the yeas. We’ve only had a couple of issues in the years since, and both times Unique Solar noticed it before I did, and effected replacements as quickly as possible. “3 weeks of waiting on a tech to come out and check on the panel is ridiculous. Have been emailing, and calling and got no response from their team which is very unprofessional. Can’t imagine how many other households are having this issue. Contacted John, which he answered right away, and then apparently ghosted me after the I gave the green light.
