“The team at VASCO Solar did a great job of installing PV solar panels on my home. From start to finish Rick was on top of it. Against 5 other solar installers, like Solar City, Solar Max and a few other local companies VASCO Solar came back with the best layout, best equipment (IMO) and competitive price. I was very skeptical at first because VASCO Solar is not a big well know company like Solar City or Solar Max, but the VASCO team came through as promised.The same day Rick came to my home to measure the roof he provided a quote a few hours later for LG 320 panels with power optimizers plus SolarEdge inverters. As soon as I signed the quote and paid the small deposit the VASCO team submitted the paperwork to the City for approval. After 1 week approval was granted and the installation was started a few days later. The install took about 3 and half days and it was up and running for testing. A few days later it passed the fire inspection and about 1 week later SCE approved it as well. Rick came to the home about 1 hour after the final approval was received and turned the system on for good. The whole process took less than 5 weeks while all of the other solar companies quoted me about 12 weeks. It was a clean job (no mess to clean up) and it looks great (painted all exposed conduit/boxes) and it is running well. I can monitor the individual panels online from anywhere, which is nice to know just in case something in the system should fail.I highly recommend VASCO Solar and their team of professional installers. I wish ALL contractors worked this way – professional, on time, good job, personable, reasonable price, quality equipment and excellent customer service! That did not happen and they did not heat up until July when the pool is warm anyway. We hoped this fall they would stay warm until end of September early October but that didn’t happen either. “Stood up twice. I made an appointment to have our solar heating equipment serviced. They were a no show the first time so I called and rescheduled. The second time they were later than the time window I had been given so I called and was told the owner was coming so I felt ok leaving the house. He didn’t bother to show up at all and no one has returned my call. Very poor customer service.Oct 2022 made one more appointment and two employees showed up, early with courtesy call first. They did the job. I was glad it wasn’t the guy who came to inspect our solar originally and who said it needed servicing every 3 years as he smelled like beer and I was nervous having him on the roof.
