Victory Solar review

Victory Solar gets the Average Performer badge and works in 1 state, but their third-party ratings don't go above 4. Local community trust isn't their strong suit either - their score is 4.0 in our evaluation. This badge means they are somehow reliable, but you need to pay more attention to what they have to offer. While Victory Solar may not lead the pack, they are certainly recognized for their capacity to meet a broad range of solar installation needs with commendable customer satisfaction. When considering this solar installer, you can add Victory Solar to your list as a lower priority and one that requires additional research before you decide to work with them.

What Do Customers Say About the Victory Solar?

energysage.com

Positive reviews:

“My wife and I decided to no-bid on a solar installation, due to retirement-related uncertainties — like, how long we would be living in our current house. The no-bid not withstanding, Victory was one of our favorites among our bidders (we had 5 bids). We found Victory to be responsive and patient with respect to our questions, we found their knowledge of the subject area to be solid, and their bid was extremely competitive, both technically and financially. I think that I would have enjoyed working with Kevin, and that the result would have been good.” – tdunnavant ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ September 21, 2017

“It seemed as if everyone around me was ‘going solar’, so my wife and I begin to shop for solar panel companies and we ran across Victory Solar on Facebook. They had great pictures and great reviews and they responded within the first five minutes of me asking questions. Mike, the owner, then called me and came out to our property and had all our questions answered! He was never pushy and made sure we were comfortable with going solar! During the time of installation, mike was available any time during the week and the team was extremely professional! Going solar has saved us a good amount of money and we plan on convincing our friends to go solar as well, and OF COURSE, we are sending Victory Solar to them!” – P.Jayaprakash12 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ September 8, 2018

Negative reviews:

“I’ve been trying to get in touch with this company for over a year and now just gave up. I wish I was savvy enough to read reviews and look into this company before I got my 70k solar power system. Worst company ever and unfortunately I was scammed. Stay away. I can be contacted by [email protected] if anyone has any lawsuits pending I’m down to join jn.” – djquix ⭐☆☆☆☆ February 20, 2024

“Literally the worst experience i’ve ever had with a company. Ken Afra the sells rep made promise after promise and used deceptive tactics to get us to sign. A year later and we are left with under performing solar panels and still paying high electricity bills plus solar loan. Sunlight Financial is absolutely no help! They won’t return calls or e-mails and keep saying someone will call back but never do. I created a Facebook group for victims of Victory Solar LLC. Find us on FB Victory Solar LLC Victims Unite. Please join and see how we can unite against the injustices we have faced with this ‘company.'” – nemishra1 ⭐☆☆☆☆ June 27, 2023

Negative reviews:

“After an aggressive and assertive sales pitch, which even promised a referral bonus, which I did two fully active contracted ones, Victory Solar took six (6) months from the contract, September 2022, to switching on the system, March 2023, in my San Antonio, Texas home. Even then, the ground cable from the system remained very exposed. I tried calling the salesman and local Victory project manager in San Antonio, with no answer. Some, not including myself, of the customers in San Antonio received a letter stating that the warranty is moved to a second company called Bright Solar, which is as difficult to contact as Victory. Victory does not answer emails or phone calls, not even out of courtesy for my simple request for the Enphase monitoring account so I can access my energy production and usage online and phone app. BTW my two referrals were never remunerated as promised either. Due to poor project management and poor customer service follow-up, I will never recommend it to anyone, especially active military personnel.” – Felix A ⭐☆☆☆☆ May 30, 2023

“Similar experience as the other recent reviews. Signed a contract in October 2021 and secured financing for solar panels and battery backup. I got the panels installed, but since then I went back and forth with them about getting the batteries installed until the last couple of months when it seems that the company has disappeared. No one answers the phone and the website is down.” – Marvin G ⭐☆☆☆☆ March 6, 2023

Positive reviews:

“Been working for Victory for over a year now and I love it! Pays well if you produce (just like any sales job will) and you get to help people save money themselves as well. Great environment.” – Sales Representative ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ May 5, 2022

“It feels good to know if I put in the time I will be rewarded for my efforts. I love how the culture is built on working as team. Great benefits and just love coming to work everyday” – Manager ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ November 20, 2021

Negative reviews:

“Was told several things upon hire that either never happened or took too long to happen. Overall some nice people work there but a lot of miscommunications happen between sales team and back office. Could be a lot better but probably isn’t the worst.” – Sales Representative ⭐☆☆☆☆ September 6, 2021

“Terrible place to work all around everything sucks here!! I worked here the crew only crew are my friends there good guys but everyone else which is like 5 people suck bad!!!” – Installer ⭐☆☆☆☆ February 6, 2018
