Our complaint is that our electric bill has barely changed from what it was pre solar…..and when it rains we have no hot water. “I contacted wikiwiki through their website to try to get a quote on a system I’d already specced with a few other companies. The salesman was oddly combative compared to other vendors I spoke to. He didnt want to be in on any process where he couldn’t give a full canned sales sitdown, and he flatly refused to skip past any questions like, “”do you have an electric car now, and if not, do you think you’ll buy one in the next 20 years?”” I wrote the owner to show him the odd communications and got no response. As I told the salesman, if we can see a price is compelling, we can talk specifics of the design and do the 2 hour long proposal sitdown.Heres quotes from his emails:””Unfortunately, as much as I would like to work with you, I’m not a professional proposal provider. “”and””In my experience, clients that insist contractors provide proposals for “”one specific design”” without the contractor knowing all the facts, they’re never happy with the outcome.””and””In my 16-years of solar experience on Maui I have come to realize, basing a proposal on someone else’s system design is often not the best strategy as the basis for their design could be incorrect.
