“Zero stars. Yellow Ball Solar’s probably a scam. Signed a contract two months ago, got hit with high-pressure sales tactics-endless calls and texts to lock in financing. Once they got paid, poof, vanished. No permits applied, no site visits, nothing started. Promised completion dates? Lies. When I finally reached the project manager yesterday, they tried bribing me with cash to stay quiet instead of fixing it. “They performed an excellent job with the install and extremely professional throughout the process. They helped deal with insurance to make sure I got the most that I could for my claim. They worked with me on financing and were very patient. They were fast to install. The only issue I ran into was getting my service turned on as there was an email issue between them and northwest but once I called they got things fixed quickly and apologized and offered to pay any electric bills I had until it was activated. They worked with my new insurance to get a discount for the 50 year shingles installed. I cant speak highly enough of them and they have continued to check in on me over the past year to make sure everything is going well. If you need roof work or solar done they are a reputable local outfit and if problems arise the owner will take the time to reach out to the customer. Exemplary customer service and terrific work as the cherry on top. I dont trust people to work on my stuff but I would trust them anytime to fix my house. “I would highly recommend Yellow Ball. They did everything they said they would do from start to finish. I haven’t had any issues with my roof. I haven’t had any issues with the solar system. Everything has been running great. The whole setup process was quick and easy. “I recently sought multiple quotes for a new roof and included Yellow Ball Roofing in the process. Unfortunately, my experience with them was far from professional. And even when I was still getting estimates, I was getting regular follow-ups urging me to make a choice. They totally cut me out of the process, sending an agent straight to the homeowner, an elderly guy, without my agreement, rather than honoring my procedure. The homeowner subsequently told me he felt compelled to sign a contract and pay on the spot. I heard about the incident and called the firm and put the project on hold. They did give the check back, but then began to guilt trip the property owner, saying the roof could have been done in a week, and other unneeded comments. This kind of pushy unprofessional behavior was not acceptable particularly on such a big dollar job. When it comes to substantial house repairs, a roofing firm should not only provide outstanding job, but also show honesty and empathy. From my experience, I would not suggest Yellow Ball Roofing. “Let me add context for this one star experience. I contacted YellowBall to come out and do an inspection on my roof. Initially they were prompt at responding back and even came out the same day to look at the roof and give me a quote. After that it was downhill. The day Jason was supposed to show up at my house to go over the roof with my insurance guy he didn’t show, call, or anything. I called the main office multiple times and they kept hanging up on me. Finally I emailed Jason twice and after 20 minutes he finally called my phone. Said he was sick and couldn’t make it and that my insurance inspector can figure it out. Yellowball dropped the ball and failed. They couldn’t even bother to send someone else out or even tell me that “”oh hey we can’t make it on this day can we reschedule?””. Why would I hire someone who can’t even show up to work and just leaves me hanging? STOP CALLING MY PHONE YELLOWBALL and quit leaving those stupid fliers on my door.
