Residential solar installers with the “Local Installer” badge work in a limited area and don’t have many reviews on external platforms yet. That means we don’t have enough data to fully evaluate their work or confidently recommend them for solar power for residential homes. We’re not saying these residential solar companies are bad—we just can’t verify their quality one way or the other. If you’re considering a Local Installer for your residential solar installation, do your homework. Check references, ask neighbors, and dig deeper before committing to solar energy for residential use with a provider we haven’t been able to fully vet.
