“My biggest issue with this company was lack of communication. It seems like every work week and job assignment had some sort of issue. There were times we would arrive on job sites with no material and we would be way out of town. There were times we would be out of town without a single hotel room booked. The hotels would be disgusting most of the times. Someone at the company actually got bit by BED BUGS, working a job out of town. They can be a bit insensitive. My other issue is they would put (2) grown men in a room together during our work out of town for sometimes weeks at a time. They would assign you to who you would be staying with in that room. I was extremely against this practice and I thought it was very unethical. Some employees have poor hygiene, or like the room freezing cold. That totally stripped you of your privacy as a human. They showed a lot of favoritism within the company because you would hear they would pay for some guys to have rooms by themselves. They NEVER gave me a raise, in fact, when I went to my first performance review, and they told me my results based on a person who didn’t even work with me, they turned right around 6 months later, and denied me another raise based on the same information from the first review. Is that even allowed? They talked about the very same thing in both reviews not giving me a fair chance at a raise and improvement. The owner was a very nice guy to say the least.
