“To start, their salesman presented the most informative bid out of our bids. He took the time to explain everything we asked about. He also wasn’t pushy. Then we were able to get from agreement to up and running in under a month! This includes dealing with hoa, permits, power company, install, etc. While we were waiting for the permit, we found that we fell just under the Oregon energy trust efficiency standards to get their deduction, so the ceo called me and offered to split the difference in cost! Not only did they come in at one of the most competitive price points with quality materials, they were willing to compromise with us to make up for our steep roof losing some efficiency. “We decided to put solar on our roof and hired Premier Solar NW. we had to put the project on hold for a few months because my brother who lives with us had a TBI and was extremely sensitive to noise. After a few months they came out and installed the system. The employees pick up all materials after the project was completed. It was spotless when they finished! “Reviews can be misleading this company is a joke, steer clear-very flakey. This project was to begin within a 2 week window between the 3rd week of July and the first week of August. My start date was pushed out 30 days and here is where the excuses and lip service begin siting schedule and permit challenges. Pushed out again 30 days, more excuses and lip service this time its supply chain issues. Apparently nobody checked on or secured the equipment. Now we are about a week from breech of contract. Equipment was installed but paperwork was not sent to the power company. This was discovered when I called 8 days later inquiring. Owner provided more excuses and lip service. “Such an amazing experience. Not only was Premier supportive, educational and very professional, they got our complex job done on time and budget. “After 3 years of owning the solar panels. I am disappointed that I used this company. The installation caused my roof to leak on my barn and they claimed it was already leaking. Eventually they saw what they caused and fixed it. The bigger issue is my inverters keep going down on the most important time to harvest power every year since I had it. “They were quick to respond to my request and had exactly what I wanted. They were also willing to install it on a solar installation that they didn’t do themselves, which other solar providers were unwilling to do. They ordered the product and contacted me as soon as it came in. Scheduling was quick, they had availability to come out a few days later. They weren’t able to complete the job in the time estimated due to the pitch of my roof, but Bob (co-owner) was very open and transparent about the issue. They did come out 3 days later to complete the job so no harm, no foul. “We had Solar panels installed by Premier Solar NW back in 2021 and have been very happy with their ability to create clean energy and reduce our electric bills. This summer, we had a fault with our inverter and the system stopped working. Premier can to diagnose and fix the issue and also assessed that the inverter needed to be replaced. They worked with SolarEdge to order a new unit under warranty and although it took a while for SolarEdge to deliver it correctly, once it arrived, Premier Solar came to install the new one and set it up correctly. We were fortunate that the old inverter was still able to work after the initial fault and until the new one was installed. Through the whole process, Kelly did a great job with communications and managing the process between SolarEdge and Premier Solar. “I chose Premier Solar to install solar panels on my home based solely on google reviews. I was not disappointed. The entire team was so easy to work with and made the entire process effortless. Fast forward 4 years. We had a “communication” issue with our inverter that was an issue on my end and no fault of the company’s equipment. I reached out to my insulation contact and was told the company had been sold. Usually this would concern me, but I was not disappointed. When I did reach out to the company for assistance, I was connected to a fantastic person (Kelly) who worked with me to coordinate a solution. Ryan was the tech that came out and addressed and corrected the issue and was a great person to work with. I also want to give a shout out to the owner Brett.
